So basically if you change the hotel reservation you losse your FP+....what if I just change the number of base tickets? Has someone lost FP+ beacuse of that change?

FP+ reservations are tied to the tickets on your account. So if you cancel your resort package, then you would lose the FP+ reservations. But if you have a room-only with separate tickets attached to your account, then it shouldn't matter what you do with the resort reservation.

As with everything that has to do with this system, the caveat is the system has a tendency to glitch and CMs may make a mistake or two. So the less you do to your reservation and tickets, the better.

To piggyback on this, what about adding the park hopper? Will that mess them up? I've asked before, but I cannot get anyone to answer. Anyone?

Also, if you are decreasing your number of days on your tickets, your FP will be affected because you can only make FP for the number of ticket days you have.

I added a day of tickets and a night and nothing in terms of reservation # changed but I'm still 150 days out so idk what the effect on FP that would cause

I have a room only DVC transfer reservation. I called yesterday and asked if adding the dining plan would remove my fast passes. The CM told me absolutely not. We were waiting to pay everything else off before getting the meal plan. But now I'm nervous I'll lose my A&E fast passes.

I would just sit online while talking to the CM about adding the meal plan. Just keep refreshing while they add the meal plan. Once the meal plan is added if you see the FP+ still nothing was affected.

I think the only issues from what I have read is when the Tickets are cancelled as apart of a package. If the tickets are separate nothing changes.
