can anyone name a few rollercoasters that aren't too scary/fast at disney that i could possibly go on? (any of the parks). thanks. :)

Big Thunder Mountain was my first ever roller coaster. It's very easy, and only goes less than 30mph tops.
Goofy's Barnstormer is the "kiddie coaster" in Toontown. That one goes ever slower.

Space Mountain is the other slower roller coaster, but it's in the dark and it has sharp turns and unexpected small drops.

All 3 of those coasters are in Magic Kingdom.

If you like spinning rides, Primeval Whirl in Animal Kingdom is a lot of fun. It's not fast, but some of the drops are a little steep. But they are small. And the cart spins around the corners, which is SOOOO much fun! =)

to put it bluntly
all of the coasters in Florda's disney are weak

MGM is the only park with a real coaster

I defintiely agree with that. If you don't like coasters, you should stay away from Rock 'N Rollercoaster.

Other than RnR, every other coaster is pretty mild. Big Thunder Mountain was my favorite ride when I was 4, and I still love riding it to this day! Space Mountain is a little more rough since it's in the dark and it seems to go faster. Goofy's Barnstormer is probably the mildest coaster that can still be classified as a roller coaster. The Primevil Whirl coaster pretty much just spins you around. No big drops.

I've always been afraid of rollercoasters too, but most of the ones at Disney I can handle.

Goofy's Barn Stormer: FUN! :D It's so minor, a 2 year old could handle it. I personally think it's adorable though, so I'll usually just go on it and be a freak by putting my hands up in the air during the extremely slow drops. I usually have people laughing at me when I do that too...BUT I DON'T CARE. :cool1:

Splash Mountain- TERRIFIES me. But! I LOVE IT. We have a love/hate relationship with each other, because I'm always a nervous wreck when I first go on it, but by the time that huge drop comes around I'm on such an adrenaline high that I don't even care anymore. If you don't like hieghts, then you CAN STILL GO ON THIS RIDE. Just do what I do and dunk under the seat when the minute the music cues that the drop is coming up.

Thunder Mountain- This ride is amazing. I was terrified the first couple of times I went on it, just because it tips and I was always afraid that I was going to slip out. BUT YOU DON'T. And it really doesn't tip that much, I'm just paranoid. It's so fun tho! And once you get used to it, you're able to enjoy it more and LOOK AROUND. There's stuff all over the place on that ride that I had never noticed until I stopped being a chicken and actually opened my eyes.

Space Mountain: Just to let you all know how pathetic I am, it took me until just LAST YEAR to get up enough nerve enough to actually ride this ride. I was so afraid of it, because it was in the dark and I have never liked the idea of not being able to see what's around me. It's really not that bad at all tho, and now one of my favorite WDW rides. You can't see much, but you can a LITTLE BIT, and the ride itself really isn't that bad at all. It just basically goes down and then does a sharp turn, down again, turn, down, turn, over and over again. :thumbsup2

Primeval Whirl: FUN STUFF THIS RIDE IS. Again, I was a bit afraid of it the very first time I rode it, mainly because of how high it went, but it's really not that bad at all. It has sharp turns, drops, and it spins. The drops are a bit steep tho, and you usually don't know what position your going to be in during that drop, because your car is spinning as you're going up to it. But they are fairly small, so it's ok. :thumbsup2

What about Everest? :confused3

I agree with everyone for Big Thunder. However, the front is *a little* less intense than the back. (You tend to experience some of the drag in the back.)

They are all really easy...the only scarey thing about RNR is the wait in the beginning and the loud screech

If you don't like rollercoasters I would suggest that you stay away from RNR. It's really fast & goes upside down, but it's really short & awesome. (:

The first rollercoaster I went on was Goofy's Barnstormer when I was 4. It's really easy & the drops are small. It's really cute too.

Space Mountain isn't bad, the first time I went on it was when I was younger & I loved it! It's in the dark, but you can still see somewhat. The only thing that might scare you is the sudden drops, but they aren't too big. There's mostly just a bunch of sharp turns & little drops. It's not bad at all, I love that ride.

Everest is awesome, but it goes pretty fast & has really steep drops.

Everest also goes backwards.

I think they're all pretty mild except RNR and Everest.
Agreed. I think Splash is "bad" but Everest is worse.

I hate/love RnRC, too. I hate the lift-off but besides for that part, the ride's not that bad.

Well, there is Goofy's Barnstormer. But that rollercoaster will really hurt your neck. Whenever people get off the ride we always see them holding there neck.

I'd say BTM. Big Thunder Mountain is not too bad and not that fast. Its really fun. Try it out.
