I'm sad..

Don't be sad.. Be proud!! You have sense enough not to spend money on something you cannot afford. You aren't pushing yourself into debt for something that is supposed to be fun. :)

I agree with you. :thumbsup2 We had to cancel a trip we had planned one year. We should have been in WDW over Mother's Day, and I was even able to score a dinner ADR at CRT for Mother's Day. Then my DH got injured at work and had to miss a bunch of days (unpaid) to go to therapy. We canceled the trip because he had a sneaky suspicion that he wouldn't have a job much longer after he was done with his therapy since they were thinning out all of their IT departments company wide. It wasn't a "work related" injury, it just happened at work. He mis-stepped coming off the end of a ramp in the IT department. I made the decision to cancel the trip, but the DH made the call. I was crying so hard, the CM wouldn't have been able to understand what I was saying.

Hopefully, you won't have to wait long before you get back.

Sorry to hear of your disappointment. I was hoping to get my wife to want to go, but she is getting tired of Disney. So at this point, it's anyone's best guess as to when we might go back.

For now, there's always pictures.
