im not going to be able to be princess jasmine for the MTOT after all :sad1:
i cant find a good jasmine costume anywhere (and believe me, ive searched on the internet for weeks!) i was planning to make it, but since i dont sew, i was going to have a family friend make it. now, she got sick, and no costume for me. (shes fine btw, but there just wont be enough time lol)

so i need a new idea! my next choice was going to be esmeralda, but nobody has costumes for her either! jeeeeeeeeez!:confused3

im sure there are going to be tons of belles, snow whites, cinderella's, etc, so whats another good idea? i was thinking tinker bell, but do you think there will be lots of her too?

all i can think of as of now, is either tinker bell or minnie mouse :(

There are Jasmine costumes for sale EVERYWHERE on line. Idk if you need adult, kid, what size, etc.... but I found countless offerings of Jasmine costumes with a Google search. Let me know if you want some of the links for on-line shops that I found.

There will be lots of every Disney princess at MTOT. I would just pick something you like and go with it. :wizard:

thanks :) yea i found a ton of jasmine costumes, but none of them really look like her :( they're all dark purple for some reason:confused3 the kids jasmine costumes are really cute, but not the adult ones. i wonder why disney wont put out a costume that looks like her for an adult:confused:

Not sure if you read one of my last posts for your original thread regarding this topic, but any good genie pattern will work for Jasmine, I have the pattern number for it, not off hand though, I posted it, on your first thread.
I believe it is a simplicity pattern.

Hi Princess, were you planning on bearing midriff? If so, I found a blue "Arabian Princess" costume that looks almost exactly like Jasmine's... Here's the picture:

it's at threewishes.com under "Genie". My friend has ordered from them multiple times and have returned and exchanged with no problems at all, so if for some reason it doesn't work, it's always an option.

Sorry about your delema, but you should be Jasmine! I mean, if it's possible.

Good Luck! :thumbsup2

PRINCESSplazola there are 2 Jasmine's both Adult. 1 is her out fit when she is in the garden with her Tiger spilling her heart and the other is a Palace Dress she wore when meeting her potential husbands among who Aladdin was the last. Both are on sale.

I love the thought of a mom as jasmine and her little child the tiger, too cute!!!!

They have plus sizes for adult costumes.

There are lots of different Women's and Men's styles that will work for Disney Character's. Just search the characters name!!

of course i read your last post:goodvibes i actually took your advice and found a really good genie pattern, but i myself do not have a sewing machine and have noooo idea how to sew...i had someone that was going to make it for me, but shes not able to anymore :( it was a great idea though! and if i cant be her this year, i will next year for sure! and ill have all year to use those patterns and make it really good;) thanks so much gisele!

You know, if you go to any fabric store they keep a file of people who do sewing for an at-home business. I have a friend who does this (she made my bridesmaid's dresses, actually). You could get the pattern and the fabric you love, and have somebody make it for you. Then it will be custom made, exactly the way you want it.

You know, I honestly have no idea? It might be expensive. On the other hand, it should be really nice, the way you want it. I would ask at the fabric store, if they have any recommendations or know somebody personally who does costumes (a lot of the times the people who work in fabric stores are friends with these people because they come in all the time for supplies, and they know what their specialties are, like wedding dresses, alterations, costumes, or whatever.) I would get a few phone numbers and explain over the phone what you are looking for, and kind of see how they react. If they're like, "umm, what? How weird!" then you wouldn't want them doing it, but if they're all like, "Oh, how fun, that sounds like something I did for my daughter," then you've found your seamstress! They would probably want to meet you, take measurements and see the pattern, and maybe they'd even meet you at the fabric store to look at what kind of fabric would work best.

Hope that works!:goodvibes

How about this one? You could leave off the parts that aren't Jasmine.

Picture is linked for you,
Dreams

I'm watching a disney movie with my mom and we were like "ooo farizah can be her."

You can be Meg from Hercules and you can make Alfredo Hercules !
