I'm Sad....

Fast passes - In one park, the DVC CM, called out to a couple to have them come over to get "all-day" fast passes. He said all they had to do was agree to go on a tour. When the couple asked if that meant they could get on any ride all day long, the CM then told them it was only for 3 rides. I think that is a bit underhanded.

. . . And, the DVC is in your face everywhere you turn - multiple locations in the parks, signs, billboards everywhere, etc. Every time I walked past them at AKL trying to leave the resort (I had to go past them to get to and from my room unless I wanted to go all the way down the other side of the resort and then back again), they said something to me to try to get me to come over.

Well, all I can say is I've NEVER had anything like you describe happen to us in almost 15 years of going to Disney. They just say hi if we make eye contact. Never any hassles for us. I didn't even know what DVC was until late 2001. I wish I would have known sooner - I would have bought some points earlier. So probably for every person that hates it, there's probably somebody like us that wishes somebody would have told them sooner. ;)
