I'm really getting sick of these midnight ER runs

I woke up Monday morning at 1:30 am to hear my DH in the bathroom hitting the shower doors and then the floor. I ran in and he was laying there with his eyes open but not responding. I called 911 and by the time they got there he was awake but not sure where he was. We took him to the hospital after my mom got there to watch Sam, the paramedics didn't need to take him, he was up and about and in control by then. We got home at 4:00 am. DH is doing fine, they think it is an inner ear problem brought on by a cold that he had. He has some fluid there. I guess he had vertigo and passed out. We have also been in to see his Dr today. Of course with no sleep for us, Sam decided to get up at 7:30 and not nap much all day!

My car wouldn't start too, but my dad was able to come over and fix it, thank goodness!

Sam is doing much better, we saw his Dr on Friday. His ears are clear although he still has some stuff in his lungs. But he is acting like his happy baby self again.

We are truly blessed, this morning seeing DH on the floor and all sorts of thoughts going through my head, I realize again how good I have it.

oh Sonya! I'm glad your husband is ok! I know that must have scared you!

{{{{HUG}}} Sonya, that must have been very, very scary. Glad to hear that DH (and Sam) are better now.

I can't even imagine how scary that must have been. Glad everyone is doing ok now.

{{{{{hugs}}}}}:( I hope things get better for you and your family!

*HUGS* to you, Sonya!

I bet that was scary, but I'm glad he's alright. Sam too. :)

Glad to hear hubby is doing better and Sam is also. You guys take car, you have weathered the storm and always pulled through. HUGS! :D

Wow, that must have been terrifying for you. I'm glad your dh is doing better.

Wow! That scared me just reading about it. I can't imagine what that must have been like for you. It definitely does give us a new perspective, doesn't it? Let's all count our blessings and hug the ones we love.

I'm glad he is ok Sonya!

Weird question for you - was he going to the bathroom when he passed out? The same thing happened to my husband, twice actually. Once I was there and actually saw him collapse in the bathroom. Very scary!

That must have scared you so badly. I'm really glad your dh is ok and that Sam is doing much better too. Life is like a rollercoaster ride sometimes, doesn't it?

Wow, Sonya, scary for sure. Good he did not injure himself in his fall, with all the hard surfaces in the bathroom.

Hoping things go a bit smoother and quieter in the days ahead.

That's pretty scary, Sonya. I'm glad your DH is okay and Sam is getting better!

Yes, we do need some quiet around here. That would be nice.

tkyes, he was going to the bathroom, or about to, and someone else told me it has happened to them in the bathroom too. Strange!

Thanks everyone!

OMG!! How scarey! I probably would have passed out myself and ended up on the floor, too. Glad to hear everyone is doing okay.
