I'm really annoyed with Tesco!

I ordered online in April the new Harry potter book and also the last book.
It was despatched on friday and should of been delivered yesterday by parcel force,my dd waited in all day until 5pm and it never turned up
I phoned tesco who said it will be there on monday now as parcel force closes at 5pm on a saturday.
what is the point of ordering all that time ago and not get it on the day??
i could of just gone out on saturday and picked it up.
dd must be the only one in the country who hasnt started reading the book!
sorry for the rant i am so annoyed about it

That's rotten Jeannette. As you say what is the point in ordering all that time ago when you have to wait till Monday to get the books. Your poor DD

I also pre-ordered two copies of the latest HP book from Tesco and they arrived 7:45am on Saturday in the normal post.

I must say though that Tesco's online service has been a let down to us on many occasions, DH ordered his Mothers Day flowers online and they didn't arrive, they turned up 3 days late all shrivelled and half dead. They did replace them but it's not nearly the dsame as having your bouquet delivered on the day now is it!

Tesco should have had no problem posting them Friday.

One good thing though, I just finished it and I can tell you she'll love every minute when she gets it on Monday.
