Thanks for all the congrats! I'm very excited! I'm getting paid $50 for that. One of the performers over at Voyage of the Little Mermaid, posted my essay in our breakroom.

I used to write quite a bit- I've been writing stories since elementary school. My dad thinks I should get into a writing career. Remember the following I had right here on the DIS when I used to post journals from my college program?

Right now, I'm enrolled in a correspondence course on writing for children at the Institution for Children's Liturature. I want to learn to write children's stories or maybe even books some day.

Yes, I'm still at the parks, but my days at the Tiki Room are long gone! I'm in entertainment now, just as I had wanted in the first place. I do meet 'n greets and am trained in Stars and Motor Cars, Spectro, and puppets for Voyage of The Little Mermaid.

Remind me when it gets closer- I only get my schedule 2 wks in advance.

I might be doing the Xmas parade this year. I got a call from scheduling asking mee if I'd release my vacation time for Nov so I can rehearse...I'm only going to do it if they let me move me vacation time earlier so I can still take a trip somewhere. (My boyfriend and I want to do a Disney cruise.)
