just kidding! ;)

I was really starting to think that I probably was. I have been extremely PMS-y for about 3 weeks but nothing ever started and I was 2 weeks late. I have been feeling so tired and yucky and I was actually going to go out and get a pg. test this afternoon but nature finally provided a definite answer for me without having to spend $10.

DH and I would like to have another baby sometime but I don't think we want them quite this close together! I was starting to become quite scared because I just couldn't figure out how we could handle two babies all at the same time!

I think I am more scared of getting pregnant the second time around than I was with the first...isn't that crazy?

Not at all :). I'm glad you dodged the bullet!

LOL! I hope you told your dh the same joke.;)

I'm not sure if I should congratulate or console you.

Oh my! I'm glad for your sake that it was a false alarm. :)

Nope! I was talking with a lady in my psych class today. She's at 37 weeks and into that "just get it out!" stage. :teeth: Plus she's worried about getting her finals done working around...what if the baby shows up before? LOL!

I got to ask...

When your DH heard the news, did he say, "How did that happen?" :)

OK, I'll admit it, you got me!

By the way, becka, my DH and his younger sister are only 15 months apart in age. And they fought like cats and dogs growing up.

When MIL found out that she was pregnant again and DH was only 5 months old, she said, "I just wanted to shoot myself . . ."

The first time, you didn't actually know what you were getting yourself into.

Now you do! ;)

you got me! I read the title of your post and thought, oh my goodness! :D

tamie

 I was just getting ready to congratulate you! HA you got us! I hope you feel better.

Is birth control really that hard to use??

I am not sure if this applies to anyone here, but I cannot understand anyone who rather go without protection once in awhile and worry rather than just use birth control EVERY TIME and feel more at peace. And if you REALLY want to feel at peace, use 2 methods instead of just one!

Its not that hard! I really cannot understand "slacking off" when slacking off can ultimately alter your life!

How do you know she's not using birth control?
It DOES fail on occasion, you know.

GG -- I don't believe becka mentioned that she failed to use birth control properly???

Looks like I am not the only one with a touch of PMS!

Not that it is any of your business but yes we do use birth control EVERY TIME because we are not planning on adding another family member at this time but accidents can and do happen even with birth control. I suppose you have never been late and wondered in the back of your mind if you could possibly be pregnant or is your birth control 100% effective so you have no need to wonder?

Becka! You got me!

I was MORE afraid the 2nd time around too. My 1st ds was not a good baby...I just kept saying that God couldn't give 2 like that!

You got me too! To be honest, if you were, I would think it was a wonderful thing. My 2 kids are over 3 years apart(not fully by choice). If I had to do all over I would make them as close together as possible.

And for the record...my best friend who had 3 kids with no problem was trying for her 4th. She was told she couldnt have any more kids and she went back on the pill. She now has a little one due in 2 months. Anything is possible! ;)

Congratulations on NOT being pregnant, Becca! LOL!!!

I, on the other hand, would LOVE to be pregnant again!! (Maybe, your negative will balance and make me positive!!! :p :p :p )

I don't want anyone to think I would be devestated if I had been pregnant. I would be thrilled to have another baby because they are such wonderful blessings but I was just scared at the thought of them being so close together. Getting used to having one baby in the house has been exhausting...I just can't imagine another little one quite yet. :)
