As far as the drive from Atlanta to Orlando, CP has it right. It took us about 7 1/2 hours last year I think. Don't get a speeding ticket like we did, though.

You guys are making me want to go so bad!

I know I know...at least everything else is all paid for or at least have the maoney waiting to be used...and you thought I was crazy when I said $3000 a few weeks back...wish I was wrong but we have to fly.


Our tentative plan is to leave right at 2:40p when the kids get out of school on Fri. Drive as far as Chattanoga (10hrs), sleep and then finish the trip Saturday which was our original arrival date. We'll then do the reverse leaving Sat and getting home Sunday. Will also keep an eye on airfares just in case. By driving though we'll have the flexibility to leave whenever we want so if it looks like it would be OK for the kids to miss Fri too then we'd head out earlier and get to the other side of Atlanta the first day to make the second much shorter.

Just wanted to let you know I was able to check another thing off my June to-do list I called down to Disney today and gave our flight info to get the DME transfers set up and I asked about our luggage being held at bell serivces at POP vs being delievered to our room and the CM I spoke w/ said we can just tell DME at the time of check-in down at MCO and they can do that...

so very cool.

we'll still have to stop over and grab one bag w/ our needs for the night and next morning...but it should work out quite well.

I opted not to request anything further on our rooms and just let the MAGIC unfold where ever we may be...it will be just great to be at Disney... some fun POP for 1 night and a great time at BLT later...seriously I can't think there is a bad view there excpet for maybe over the service bay...

Plus I just pre-ordered two tickets for Nathan and I to go and see Toy Story 3 on Sat. morning for our Mommy and Son outing since he'll be leaving for camp for 1 whole week on Sunday w/ DH...it will be weird not seeing him for that long...

can't wait to give you my review...

Hurray for checking DME off the list!

I am so excited about TS3 -- I think we will be going to a Monday matinee -- I don't want to fight the crowds this weekend, and I have a feeling it will be very crowded!

if you mean addonitis as far as points...Oh I had that back like less than 2 months after buying...kinda bummed we didn't add the 50 extra on then to BLT...but probably smart we didn't...money wise

I do want to, but it will have to wait a few more yrs and trips (right now w/ some banking and borrowing) we can go 1 big (2 BR) and 1 small (studio) through 2013 planned...but I want to have enough points to do GG and stay in a 3 BR some day...plus I so want to go to Hawaii....I'll treat the family (my parents, brother, SIL (future kids maybe) and sister, BIL and nephew) to the DVC resort...everyone else figure out how to get there and such...but man we'll need some major add on for sure for that...but I don't want to buy Hawaii just go ... hoping in say 4 yrs you can still add on to BLT or somewhere
