Hi Julie! Back from HHI and trying to catch up on everything! Haven't checked out the links yet but so glad to see you've worked out the hopping issue! What a relief!

Great family photo. We were in Charlotte with family so we got a group shot but I didn't push for one with just my kids, DH and I. With Daniel you only get so many photos so I decided not to push it.

Hoping the week back to school goes well and best of luck on the IEP meeting too!! Will have to meet for coffee again soon!

Now back to check out those links and finish catching up with all my threads!

Yay! So glad you are able to swing the PH--I bet that is a relief off your mind. Great deals for your Disney box! We started to pick things up--I totally think it makes sense to spread the cost whenever possible.

Love the customs you have had done. RustManFan has created one for my family's trip as well. We have had some other things done too. I think it is a really special treat to have them done. I am so thankful there are others willing to share their talents with us! I love Becky's bows! I order a couple for Easter for my DD--they are so cute! I want to get a few more done before we go to Disney. They are all so cute, it is difficult to choose. I love the Belle dress you are looking at on Etsy. So adorable! The Mary Poppins jumper is cute too. I love the Ladies shirt too. :

Hi Julie! Great family picture. I like Kathy was so busy with pre-Easter and Easter that I totally forgot to take pictures?! Ooops.

Finally all caught up, was away at a conference for work then lots and lots of cantoring/singing in church for Holy Week and Easter!

Hi my fellow Disers!


Here are some quick planning updates that have been in the works...


* Ordered the kids 7-Day PH passes through UT and using the very cool Mousesavers discount...even saved another 1.99 for their celebration of their new iphone app and I don't even have an iphone

* Cleaned out some misc. papers/notes from my planning binder that no longer need

* Have not re-looked over my last Itinerary since making on 3-27...so guess I am feeling good...counting down days till the hours are released for 2010 Nov!

* Looked over my original monthly to-do's...still need to type up and transfer notes from the mini pre-pre-planning notebook to my travel folder!

April is for finalizing the itinerary in prep for ADR's in May...so that is on hold till hours/entertainment is released.

July I had listed add the DDP on our ressie, but that is done

* I have been going through CS choices and trying to figure out the best places to eat w/ Naomi-Ruth in mind w/ her food issues (no cow's dairy, eggs, wheat or gluten) been doing research on the boards of what other people have done and eaten...will post on some of that later this month or in May.

* Since I am taking my lap top to WDW w/ me I am planning to save various restaurant menus in a folder and have a folder of pertiant planning materials on it.

* downloaded and printed cool planning cards from a fellow Diser Mickey'sBestGirl

update my "dinning plan" TS/CS/in room

need to finalize dates/choices/budget for BBB for girls and PL for Nathan

after hours/entertainment released tweak main itinerary and have back up dates for TS if can't get first choice...(hate that part...usually I don't do, but think I should w/ the travel dates)

Also UPcoming....my first Julie's Mickey Memories Custom Album is DONE and sold!

Hi Julie!! First - I'm happy to walk you through the online dining ressie system. I've made so many ADRs that I've become a pro!

As far as restaurant advice - We found that it was easiest to deal with food allergies at non-buffet TS restaurants. They were equally accomodating at all TS restaurants, but it was hard to sit around and not eat at a buffet while we waited for Alex's special food. Or we would eat, while he picked at a few safe food from the buffet... neither situation was ideal.

At non-buffet TS restaurants we would all be served together.

CS were tricker because we would all order together and have to wait for Alex's food - not much to do to avoid that.

What's this UT iphone app you mentioned?

thanks maybe you can email "steps" or carve out a time to call and I can sit online while you explain...I did it for my Mom's ADR...but for several, what to be prepared! need a run-thru

Yes of our TS choices...CRT lunch-order, HDDR set menu, WCC-set menu/order, 1900 PF-buffet (figure brings some food from villa and she can have fresh fruit), Tuttio Italia-order

I will contact special food services too before ADR window to just see their thoughts!

yes that is what I am thinking...some other Diser said a special order could take up to 30 minutes longer if not more...Matt and I figure a few times one of us will have to go ahead and split up to order for her...I plan to bring food for her into the parks each day for the most part and have her eat the applesauce, jello, grapes, carrots mostly offered w/ the CS kid meal since we are paying for it...hoping some places can get "special" food easier...
