I'm on the waitlist!

We have decided to go to WDW for Thanksgiving this year. I know, crowded like crazy. But, great weather and our first trip "home".... Anyhow, I got the first two nights in a std view studio at BWV but are waitlisted for the 22-24. Am I dreaming? Will the waitlist work? I guess I think this is a popular time and a popular room category. Anyone who could share their experiences and/or advice would be welcome...

definitely popular - get a back up room somewhere else -just in case you can't get it.

It is possible that it will come through. Easier to wait if you have a back up plan, though.

Good news is that the 7 month window isn't open yet and you are already on the waitlist. Something may come through for you at the 7 month mark when people switch things around between resorts. If not then, something might happen around the 31 day mark. People often cancel then to avoid having points go into the holding account.
