So, we're staying at the GF for our Honeymoon in November, and I'm figuring out our schedule. We're renting a car, so getting to other resorts isn't a problem. The restaurants I've picked so far are:

Citricos
Narcoossee's
Bistro De Paris

Kona Cafe (for Breakfast)
50's prime time (lunch)
Liberty Tree (lunch)

I'm wondering-- is there a gem I'm missing? I am not crazy about California Grill. I need one more dinner choice, and deciding between Jiko (eaten there and liked it, but with a past boyfriend, so ick), Bluezoo, Yachtman Steakhouse, Flying Fish, or Artist point.

What should we do? We love all sorts of food.

I personally like Mama Melrose at MGM. I think that they have really good food!!!! How about CRT for dinner?

Hmmm, if you are at the GF, try Victoria & Alberts. See if the Chefs table is available... it is a little more expensive, but really special... They have one table in the kitchen, and they only do 1 seating a night, they will customize the menu for you... it is fabulous...but it books up quickly, and a jacket is required...

I am with OHANA! Victoria and Alberts! We are doing that in September for our 1 year Anniversary.

What about the resturant in Animal Kingdom? There is a FABULOUS buffet there that you should try if you haven't yet, but the resturant is 5 star.

I also recommend the Brown Derby in MGM. Food there is excellent.

Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge, and the resturant in Canada (name is gone from my head) are two of my other favorites. And if you want something really fun and yummy do the Whoop Dee Doo Review! It is so great!

Yachtman's Steakhouse is a great choice for dinner. Another good selection for breakfast before going into EPCOT is the Yachtman's Galley.

Jen, Did you me Le Cellier? I hear that their cheese soup is to die for!

Jonette,
Yes! That is it! Hate it when that happens!

And YES, the cheese soup is TO DIE FOR! so yummy!
One of my favorite dishes is the ravioli stuffed with sweet potatoes smothered in a sage sauce...HOLY COW!

I like all their food...in Disney I mean!

OK, how come I am so hungry now?::yes::

(Hi Jonette, RRBB is looking forward to seeing you on Thursday)

mama melrose in MGM is a good choice. it's quiet and sort of romantic. yachtsman steakhouse is even more romantic. excellent food. umm.... i would suggest california grill but you already said you're not too fond of that place so i'll leave that one out. i think your choices are good so far. if there's anything else you need help with, just let us know.

DH and I loved Jiko (at AKL) when we dined there on our honeymoon. It was our favorite and most romantic meal we had on our honeymoon.

For our Disneymoon NEXT MONTH ( :Pinkbounc ) we chose:

Narcoossee's,
Cinderella's Royal Table,
The Coral Reef Restaurant,
'Ohana,
Mama Melroses,
Rainforest Cafe (for my FH, I don't want to do this one..),
and Fulton's

So, I would say 'Ohana... I've heard the atmosphere is GREAT, and if you get an 8:00 or 8:30 PS you can see (and hear) Wishes. We're arriving somewhat early so that we can ask for a window seat...

Don't forget your ears, and a mini wedding cake when dining at ANY restaurant in the GF!!

HAPPY DISNEYMOONING from a fellow Disneymooner!

JonetteA, I think I oopsed, My DW is meting Janette at a crop somewhare and leave me and Ian for a "boys night out" Your posts were right next to one another on the last Dismeet thread, so I got confused...

Bride2Be0705, I love Ohana's, and since it is on the monorail with the GF, resort hopping is easy. CRT is a good place too, but you have to let them know it is a special occasion and you will wait for a good seat to see Wishes... Actually, I would do it at Ohana's too...

We also like the Garden Grill at EPCOT in the Land. DW and I have some very fond memories from there...

I decided to do it from Ohana because I wasn't sure how well we'd be able to see Wishes from the Castle... So 'Ohana it was. I am very excited... I can't wait! One month and 2 days!!

When we stayed at the Polynesian we had dinner at OHana's twice and we loved it. The food was great! And it was all you can eat (I think my fiance enjoyed that part the best) :flower:

Suggestions for Ohana's...

When you make the PS, have them put it in your ressie that you want a good seat for Wishes.

Get there a little early and tell them you don't mind waiting for a good seat to see Wishes.

Don't let them rush you. The waiters will try to start your next course uickly. tell them you are not ready yrt. They will push you out of therevery quickly and you might miss Wishes.

The first time DW and I went there, I was talking with a friend, and missed them taking away the apetizers. I was rushed through dinner...

I hope this helps...

I have to say that Artist Point is our absolute favorite restaurant at Disney World. We have had the pleasure of eating there twice, and both times we had wonderful food and wonderful service. All of the food portions are generous, and though it is artfully presented, it’s not too gourmet for us (we are very picky eaters). The service is wonderful and very attentive. Their signature dessert, the Artist Point Berry Cobbler, is my favorite dessert anywhere of all time. The atmosphere is casual, yet upscale at the same time. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially during a honeymoon (our first time here was during our honeymoon).

How about Ohana for dinner, around the time Wishes is playing?
