Thanks all for the welcome backs! I've been trying to catch up on the TRs and PTRs I got behind on while we were gone! I'm going to try to do a double update over the weekend, with more about our club med vacation (don't you wish we could take 5 week vacations ?!?!?) and the promised tour of GKTW! We are very happy to be home and have been going to bed early and sleeping late! Piper actually started back up with her homebound yesterday, and is completely caught up with her schoolwork. She took a couple of AR (Accelerated Reader) tests today, and is now a proud member of the "100 Point Club". It's a very big deal at her school, last year there were only about 8 kids who made it! At the end of year awards, they get special recognition, prizes, etc. So that was our excitement for the day! Of course, afterward we had to go to the drug store and pick up her meds..I was teasing her on the way out, because I had two grocery bag-size bags full.. "Piper..who in the world am I carrying all this medicine for..it's like our own drugstore." I got in response: "Mommy..you know they're for me, I have to stay healthy!" Smart girlie!

Hello all!! I haven't had access the past few weeks, but they finally decided to fix the family computer! Of course, we're coming home tomorrow, but hey..: Piper is in great spirits, she's loved the time here as opposed to being at the main hospital. They aren't great about delivering e-cards, but we have received the snail mail cards and packages, so thank you! : Once we're home I'll post some pics and such. Piper did enjoy the Easter egg hunt, and Easter..she had about 4 Easter baskets by the time it was all said and done! I know. I just didn't know that what I had to say while planning was all that exciting. Besides it's like 25 days before we leave, don't you think it's a bit late now? I have for certain plans to start a TR when we get back. Thank you for your support, it's sweet.
