Hi everyone!!! This is my first pre-trip, any trip report. So here goes...

First, I'd like to introduce myself~Sheena 25 yrs. old, environmental science major, from the south, that hates sweet tea!!!
I've been "not obsessed" with WDW for 2 1/2 years now. I've been to WDW 6 times, this year makes my 7th.
The cast for this year will be my sister~Carla 24 yrs. old (we're 11 months apart), who recently got married, and hates WDW water, she says it tastes like "swamp water"...
And my BIL~Jason 24 yrs. old, NEVER been to WDW, and is my latest victim... I'm going to tell him Beverly is the best!

I've been planning our trip since February. My dad's girlfriend was nice enough to give me a week of her timeshare, which we were able to trade in for a Disney Resort.
We are staying at the Saratoga Spring Resort. This is my first time staying here. In 2005, I went with my aunt during free dining, and we stayed at Pop Century. I vowed NEVER to stay at another "value" resort again. The resort itself was awesome. I'm just a light sleeper, and heard everything, because the walls are so thin. I heard the neighbors coughing one night! Last year we stayed at the BWV. I loved it there!!! My mother and sister stayed at OKW, and they loved it even better there. We rented points, and everything worked out great.

This year, it was either go to Mexico or WDW... and of course I chose WDW!!!
It was just going to be me and my sis, but then she had to run off and get married, and I kind of felt sorry for the guy, so I'm letting him go. He grew up with a weirdo family that didn't watch Disney movies. My sister and I remember the day we got the Disney Channel. We always went to the movies to see Disney films, and bought them when they came out. So, I took pity on him and told him he can go. I'm making him watch all the "important" Disney movies before we go. If he doesn't watch them, he'll never get the rides or the shows, and what's the point in going if you have no idea what's going on.

Well, I have to go to class. Yay!!! I'll write some more later on my itinerary and where we're eating at. So, until next time...

Well, it's been raining all day, and I've been watching Disney stuff on the Travel Channel. I love watching it, even though I've seen them all about 10 times each.

Well, here's my plan...

Nov.30th~ The plan is to leave after my morning class, or at least by noon. I'm getting us a room in Valdosta, GA, that way we won't have to drive all night. I don't want to waste any park time by sleeping!

Dec.1st~ Leave Valdosta by 7:30 a.m. I think it's like 3 1/2 hours to Orlando.
The plan is to go to MK after we get settled in. I know that the Christmas parade might be that day, so I'm not so sure. If it's to crazy there, we'll go tp Epcot. We have ADR's at Coral Reef @ 7:50 p.m. After dinner, we'll go back to MK, cause they close at midnight. We're night owls anyway.

Dec. 2nd~ Whenever we get up, it's off to AK. We have ADR's for Boma @ 5 p.m. Not for sure if I want to keep this one or not. After dinner, off to DS until it closes. It's also EEMH that night until 11 p.m.

Dec. 3rd~ Epcot is our first park for the day. I'd like to do the Seeds Tour, cause I have a coupon that someone was nice enough to send me from the Dis. Then it's off to MK for the rest of the night. We have ADR's for Kona Cafe`@ 7:10 p.m. It's EEMH at MK until 1am.

Dec. 4th~ We'll be getting up early for an ADR at Crystal Palace @ 8:10 a.m. This is going to be rough because we'll be up late from the night before and have to get up early today. But I want good pics of an empty park and this was the only logical day to do it. We also have ADR's for California Grill @ 5:50 p.m. Wishes starts at 6, so I hope we get great view. After dinner, we'll probably go to Downtown Disney and hang out there. I've never been, so looking forward to going there.

Dec. 5th~ First park is DS, then off to Epcot again. We have ADR's at Teppan Edo @ 8:15 p.m. I'll probably try to do a little of AK again before we go to Epcot.

Dec. 6th~ Back to DS again. I didn't really spend alot of time there the past couple of trips. There's alot we still haven't done, so I want to get them in this trip. Then it's off to Epcot again. We have ADR's at Le Cellier @ 6:10 p.m.

Dec. 7th~ It's AK day again. Got to ride EE one last time! Then it's back to Epcot again for ADR's at San Angel Inn @ 6:15 p.m. Probably a little of MK in between. There's EEMH at Epcot until 12:30 a.m.

Dec. 8th~ It's check-out day... I guess we'll go to whichever park we feel like today. Then back home... where I have to take finals...

There it is, my itinerary. I worked very hard on it, and hopefully I won't tamper with it any more.

I'll post some pics of last years trip on here if I can figure out how to do it. Until next time...

I read some of your trip report, and I about cried. My dad is a volunteer FF and an EMT also, and I don't know what I'd do if something happened to him. You're a very brave person to dedicate your trip to your brother. I don't think I could live without my sister. We are 11 months apart, and the same age for 3 weeks. We were basically raised like twins, and kind of act like a pair too. But we have totally different personalities. She's a loud mouth and I'm pretty quite, at least compared to her.

I'll try to post some pics this evening or tomorrow. I have class, again...

Hope your class was okay!

It was actually fun. Like I said, I'm an environmental science major, and the class yesterday evening was a soils class. We looked at bacteria growing in soil. I know, BORING. But it's the best class, in that class, I've had so far.

I've been studying for midterms, which are next week, all day today. My back is killing me!!!

I can't wait till CSI comes on! I LOVE Gil!!! He rocks!!!

I can't get the stupid scanner to work right. It keeps on popping up error. So none of the good pics today.

We had a family reunion yesterday, and I had a blast. We rode 4-wheelers ALL day.

Today, we all get to meet the newest edition to our family. My cousin had a baby in August. He was premature, and he's been in the hospital ever since. I'm so excited!!! She's had a rough time staying pregnant. She's 30 years old and had 3 miscarriages in the past 2 years, and this time she made it to 28 weeks. So we're all glad she got to have a child.

Well, I gotta study...

oh blessings for the baby...my preemie is now 26 years old! she was a 27 weeker and she had preemie twin girls at 31 weeks,they are 3 now and her baby girl was full term and is 8 mos....so precious those lil fighter.......i also know 2 lil boys who were born at 25 and 27 weeks and are fine now...awesome work those docs can do...

Thank you so much!!! He is so beautiful!!! He honestly looks like a baby doll. I just wanted to hold him all night, but that was impossible cause we have a huge family. But thanks for the comment. I'm just glad that he got to go home and finally seeing him in person.

We should be ordering our tickets really soon. The wait is killing me. My sis and BIL haven't coughed up the dough yet, and the money I have is burning a hole in my pocket!!! Until next time...

Well, midterms are finally over!!!
It's been a hectic week, but I survived it!!! I still haven't ordered our tickets yet. I really need to do that this week, before Disney goes up on their prices unexpectedly! I still need to add by BIL to the room and get a room in GA.
But, were 40 days away!!!
Gotta go to class... again.

Well... we FINALLY ordered our tickets yesterday!!!
So, we're really officially going. I also payed the resort fee, because we traded through II. And we booked our hotel in Georgia. So we have nothing else to pay for, except gas, until we get there.
I'm so super excited now!!!

I've read on another thread the Spaceship Earth might now be opening until Dec. 9th. I hope not, that is one of my favorite rides! I would be so sad, cause we leave the 8th.

Good news though, I passed all of my midterms. Some of them were not as great as I hoped, but at least I passed them! I can't wait until this semester is OVER! I just hope I pass Chemistry, I loathe that class!!!

Now all I gotta wait for is the tix to come in the mail.

I'm so excited, my ticker has actually hit the 1 month marker. I've been counting down since 280 days , somewhere around there, and it seemed like it would never come... and now it's almost here!!!

As for the baby, he's doing so good. He's still on oxygen and the heart monitor, but he's gaining weight. He's almost 5 1/2 pounds now. I tell you what though, he can rip off some real stinkers. I told his mom that he's going to be the baby nobody wants to hold!!!

Well, off to work on a paper...

I am going to Disney in December as well, our dates overlap by a few days. I have never been during any special holidays, I am so excited to see Disney all lit up for Christmas.

I read your trip report. Great job. You seem like a fun bunch!!!

Still waiting on my tickets. My sister is actually getting excited now, my BIL has yet to. He will!!! I'll make him!!!

I'm still bummed, and my sis cause I told her last night, that Spaceship Earth will be closed. That's one of our fav rides. I got to look on the bright side, at least it's not any of the Mountains or TTA, or I would be devistated!!!

I'm hoping that Y&Y will be opened when it's supposed to be. I'd like to make ressies for there one day. ~crosses fingers~

I have 2 more weeks until our fall break. I like so need it. I'm so sick of school right now. I have 3 papers, plus my science seminar (lit review) I need to work on this week. And I don't know if I'm doing (the seminar) right. When I'm done with that, I have to give a power point presentation on it, in front of the whole science faculty! It's way passed the drop date, so I have to do it.

This is our first time in December. I've been in October when the castle is lit up in, I think, orange, green, and/or purple. I loved it!!!

Gosh, I about forgot about my pre-trip!!! Well, nothing has changed. Still waiting on Nov. 30th, so we can leave already!!!

We're out on "Fall Break" next week. Thank God for that!!! I so need a break. We haven't been out since Labor Day!!! I've got so much going on right now, so many papers to write. I'm a last minute person when it comes to that stuff. Right now, I'm really focusing on my science seminar. My power point is almost completed and I haven't really started on my lit review yet. And I wanted to be a science major... what was I thinking.

My mom and sister is having me a graduation (for my A.S.) dinner party, and I found out she is inviting everybody! I'm running out of $$$, so she's throwing this bash together to "raise" money for my vacation. I'm tapping into my Disney money right now for gas to get school. It sucks being poor!!! Gas is going up, and I drive roughly 70-75 miles round-trip and I drive a "gas hawg"!!!

Oh well, enough ranting!!!
