I'm usually not in the mood for bragging any day. I had a "friend" who would email me literally every day with how great her kids were, etc etc and send me tons of pics in my email of her children...like I said, literally every day. Took up so much space in my inbox I finally had to ask her to take me off her mailing list. Every so often, I get snail mail from her bragging about her husband's new promotion (and exactly what salary he's making) or how big their new apartment is, etc. Apparently she sends out these newsletters to several mutual friends and everyone groans all the time over it. She even sent out calendars to her friends where each month was a pic of her children.

I don't mind sharing things, but bragging to the point you're trying to show off is just over the top.

hey splash u feeling better today I am stuck down here near DC for school for the week and I am getting a cold to boot...I never thought I would say this but I wish I was in Mass. right now. I know how you feel if my mother tells me one more time about how great my nephews and nieces are I am going to scream! Feel better.

Okay - how about the opposite?

I'm stupid - forgot to notify the IRS and SS when I moved last year and somehow this past fall I forgot to winterize my place at the lake before I left.. (Can you say "stupidity on my part will result in the purchase of new toilet; pipes; kitchen sink; etc.?)

I threw my back out a week ago - was on the mend, tried to do some dishes and ended up in worse shape than ever.. More stupidity that landed me at the Urgent Care Center..

I am hating winter more than ever this year.. There is quite a bit of snow here and I hate it.. I am not a winter person..

I have become extremely forgetful - to the point where I'll be writing a letter and only write half a word in a sentence..
