I'm not sure why, and can't decide what to change. I'm just not feeling good about my ADRs this year.

This is what I have:
Le Cellier (2 times for dinner)
Coral Reef (dinner)
Grand Floridian Cafe (dinner)
Teppen Edo (dinner)
Tutto Italia (dinner)
Chef Mickey's (breakfast)
Crystal Palace (dinner)
Sci-Fi Diner (lunch)

Any suggested changes? :confused3

I would probably only eat at Le Cellier once and try somehwere different for that other meal. I'm the type that likes to eat at as many places as possible when we go, and always try something new or different, though. Hope you have a fun trip! :thumbsup2

That is what I was thinking too. But, DS asked to eat there because they have a kids steak. I think the kids dinners are what is messing me up. There are not many places that offer meals that both my kids like. I'll be glad when they are both 10!

I would change Crystal Palace to breakfast rather than dinner (the dinner is not as good). I would keep LeCellier once for dinner and either make the other time for lunch or try Biergarten.

Having been to and enjoyed: LeCellier, Coral Reef, Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace and SciFi (lunch also), I would say those are good choices. The only other one I've been to and did not enjoy was GF Cafe'. Have fun.;)

I agree with the others, I would cut back and do LeCellier once and I have to say the last time I ate at GF Cafe, what a disappointment......terrible service and not great food and I have eaten there many times since it opened, this last time put it in the penalty box for us, one that we will not visit again for a while..

I have to say I had two very good meals at the Turf Club at SSR this past December.....I was pleasantly surprised..

Le Cellier is not worth the price IMHO. The portions are small and the prices are big. Service is great, but nothing different from other WDW restaurants. If you just "have to" try it, I would do it for dinner, but only once.

Be aware that Tutto Italia is pretty pricey. Only go there if you are willing to pay big prices for your meal.

I have absolutely no problem with Crystal Palace's dinner, but it is better for breakfast before the park opens IMHO. Either way, I would keep it on the list.

Sci-Fi... what can I say? Horrible food, ghastly service, and long waits. A real mess. Take it off the list immediately!

How about Spoodles instead of the 2nd Le Cellier ? If your DS likes steak, they have steak kabob on the kids menu. And it's only a boat ride away from Epcot.

I also like CP better for breakfast, but we liked the dinner too.

Grand Floridian Cafe, never been there, but I'd go to Cali Grill instead.

Teppen Edo (dinner)

I just wanted to make you aware that Teppen Edo is not your "typical" Japenese Steakhouse. Every Japenese Steakhouse that we've ever eaten at has a salad, soup, and shrimp for an appetizer, and also offers fried rice or steamed rice. Teppen Edo does NOT offer any appetizers with the meal (although you can order them separately) and does not offer fried rice at all with the meal. Since my DD loves Japenese Steakhouses, we had this one on our ADR list as well, until we found out about the differences. Anyway, those items may not matter to you, but they did to me. Other than that, I think that your list is fine (although I do agree about CP for breakfast - it was yummy when we went).

I would go to Crystal Palace for breakfast also. We weren't crazy about the dinner. I don't think I would go to Teppan Edo either. You don't get much for the money, just like a previous poster replied. We have a great Japanese restaurant near our home and I think I would be disappointed at Teppan Edo, especially considering the prices.

Your choices look good to me! We haven't been to Sci Fi yet (it's on the list for November), or the GF Cafe, but we've had great meals at the rest and would/will go back to all of them.

I definitely agree! Everything else looks great though!

Just my opinion. Skip GFC and SciFi and add in some other places. I would probably cut LeCellar back to once and maybe give another place a try that offers childrens steak.

Thanks everyone. You picked-up on exactly the ones I am concerned with. I think I'm going to change GFC and one of the LeCelliers. I am considering 'Ohana, WCC or San Angel Inn. It is so hard to decide!

The boys want to have CP for dinner on our first night, so breakfast wont be an option.

We also don't expect much from the Sci Fi food. We are just going for the atmosphere. We love it!!!

Thanks for all the suggestions! :goodvibes

I think your choices look pretty good... our family always includes dinner at Mexico and Germany in World Showcase in our dinner reservations. When we were little, my brother and I loved the show at Germany. Now it's a buffet, so there is a lot of variety. We also love the Sci-Fi lunch!!

we just got back and had Lunch at Coral reef (same menu as dinner) and it was amazing!!!! DH had sirloin, i had the tiliapia (mmmm) and DD 8 had mach and cheese..very large portions for a 3 ear dining. We also went to Crystal palace for dinner..food was excellent but choices are limited. chef mickeys for breakfast was great as usual!

I've really enjoyed both Canada and Japan in the past. However, the DIS Unplugged has panned both Le Cellier and Tepan Edo recently. It seems that to turn the tables quicker, the restaurants have both sacrificed variety, flexibility, portion sizes and service.

I am very sad about these changes. These were two of my favorite restaurants, not just favorite WDW restaurants.

I would change one of the LeCellier's to Ohana at the Poly. I am sure that your kids would like Ohana due to there ages and you get 4 different kinds of meat, potatoes, shrimp, and the most wonderful dessert!! So, the kids would have plenty to choose from. They eat the same as the adults! We loved Ohana and so did our kids! I think you made good choices though. We loved Coral Reef, Crystal Palace (lunch), and LeCellier. I haven't been to the GFC, but I have not read any great reviews about it either. I know you are doing some character meals, but we also loved Liberty Tree Tavern and it is also served family style, so no kids menu here either. Just some suggestions. Have a great trip no matter what you decide!:thumbsup2
