And since my mind is Disneyfied, it got me wondering about at what age did we all here officially join DVC?
I bought into AKV when I was 36.

I pined for it in 1996, saved up and bought at OKW (love at 1st sight) in 2000 at the ripe young age of 38. My son was 3, now 14 he shares my love of DVC and refers to it as, "our timeshare".

I bought this year. I'm 24 my husband is 27. We joke because we bought a vacation interest before we bought a real home. (Neither of us is too interested in having a drive way to snowblow, a yard to keep up, etc.)

We had considered purchasing 4 years prior, but we didn't take the time to fully learn and understand it, and couldn't wrap our heads around the value dumb, I know (we had only requested information via mail when we first looked into it, didn't do the tour until the year we purchased).

Just purchased last year, at age 43, DH was 47. Contemplated it many times prior, but last year was finally the right time. Our kids currently 14 and 17 will be able to enjoy it for many years to come as we will be well into our 90s by the end of the contract.

OK....as hard as it is for me to say this...DH was 59 and I was 56. I don't think it would have worked for us sooner, but it's definitely working for us and our DFamily now!

I was the same way. I bought into AKV when I was 24 (about 2.5 years ago). This was before I was married (I was engaged) and before I bought a house. I figured if I waited until after I got married and bought a house, I might change my mind. I also wanted to pay it all off so I figured I could determine how much money I had for a wedding and a house after I took off what I was paying for DVC.

Fast forward to 2 years later, DH and I decided to buy into BWV as well. We were both 26. But only my name is on both contracts.
