I'm no longer a moderator. (kinda long)

[color=3300ff]On a forum I visit regularly I was made a mod. The administrator practically begged me to. Since the community is still extremely small (only 56 members) there's not much to moderate. Everyone gets along and pretty much sticks to the rules and since me and another woman were moderating one board there's wasn't much to do.
I get back from West Palm on Wednesday and I have a pm from the admin. saying she compressed two boards into one and that I was the sole mod for it now. Okay, cool, now I can actually do something since my little board was so small by itself.
I went to the forum today and noticed that I'm no longer a mod for that board. So I looked through all the other boards and found that I'm not even a mod any more. All mods get little pics with their title under their user name. Mine's gone.
I didn't even get a heads up. I just stupidly noticed that my name wasn't under my board any more. And why send me a pm saying I'm still a mod and a few days later demote me without warning?
I'd never been a mod before and I'm not sure how it works here but I thought she should have at least told me herself.

Have you emailed the person? If she was compressing the boards maybe you got lost in the "new" board....I would ask her and find out maybe it is just a mistake...

[color=3300ff]I PMed her about it but she hasn't gotten back to me yet. I don't think it's a mistake since she has a thread that lists the current admins. and mods. It was just updated yesterday and my name is no longer on it.[/color]

I have heard that BB reassignments and the like can come out of nowhere at times, Julie. A big {hug} in your bewilderment. Hope you find out what happened.

Aww I'm sorry! I'm also a mod on a BB that one of my best friends run...but thankfully everyone there is super and I've never had to do one thing.

Were you friends with this person before? I know my friend would let me know, but actually on our little board I don't know that a mod is even needed...

I am very good friends with her. There were only a handful of people when I joined and we hit it off. I'd remind people to stay on topic and was always providing fun pics. So she kept asking me to moderate for her since there was only her and another girl to do it. Her site is very organized. She's always updating it and reminding people of things and that's why I'm confused as to why she didn't say something to me.[/color]
