I'm new!

Hello! I'm new to the boards but not to Disney. I am trying to plan a trip with 2 other families for June. We are planning to stay off property just because we have such a large group. I do have a couple of questions though.

With us staying off property I know that we will have to pay for parking each day. My question is if we plan to leave the park for the afternoon say for lunch and naps do we have to pay again if we go back to the same park? Also, if we pack a lunch because we're not sure how far we'll be from the parks is there places to picnic around the parks?

My last trip we stayed on Disney property and we were able to use their transportation and go back to our resort.

You only have to pay once per day. You can hop or nap. Have a great time.

You only pay for parking once per day and that is good to park at any of the parks. Save your receipt. If you have park hopper tickets and want to go to MK in the am and then to Epcot in the evening, just show your parking ticket at Epcot and you don't need to pay again.

There aren't any picnic locations in the parks. Disney wants you to buy their food! You would have to just sit on the ground or a bench somewhere-- not sure that would be a very comfortable lunch.

Just to clarify, you can't park hop unless you have park hopper tickets.
