I'm new here.....I'll be disneymooning

I'm so excited! I've been to disney once, when I was about 4, so I don't remember much! The wedding is August 6 2005 and I can hardly wait!!
I don't know a lot about disney, anyone have any secrets or first timer tips,, things not to miss etc etc etc for me? I already have my AWESOME mouse ears headband...its totally awesome to wear so everyone will know we're honeymooning. Has anyone does this? Does it really work?

My DH and myself wore our wedding ears the day after our wedding to MGM and we heard a lot of "congratulations" and such. We didn't wear them to dinner and such, since we didn't want anyone to think we were asking for freebies (that's just us though). The photographers on the streets of MGM were more than happy to take pics of us, even brought us to "special" locations for some cute shots.
You can get PLENTY of tips on the Theme Parks board. My biggest tip is Fast Pass, Fast Pass, FAST PASS!

where are you two staying for your disneymoon? make sure to note on your reservation its your honeymoon & when making priority seatings for dining.

some of me & my fiance's favorites are dining at epcot world showcase the restaurants are great & authentic, like le cellier in canada, ask for a seat near the fireplace, the food is superb. we also enjoy dining at cinderella's royal table in the mk castle, great ambiance and california grill at the contemporary which offers a great view of the mk fireworks. we've also done some extras like the illuminations firework cruise with dessert & wine, tandem parasailing, fw hayride and some behind the scene tours like dolphins in depth at epcot an educational dolphin encounter & backstage safari at ak. dtd & the boardwalk are great for late night fun with dining, shopping & clubs. also have a off day or relaxtion day, sleep in, go to the grand floridian spa or the waterparks which will be nice in the hot august heat.

check out a disney guidebook like the birnbaums walt disney world 05 which gives good descriptions and has some coupons in the back or the passporter guide. theres tons to do with at the wdw themeparks & extra activities. ohh & from what i hear the ears are great fun, get alot of congrats & sometimes freebies. enjoy!

As everyone else stated- wear the wedding ears, yes you may feel silly in them, but it's nice to hear people telling you congrats and things like that. I had the headband 2 years ago in WDW and it was really neat- we sometimes got our own boat on boat rides, got told Congrats alot- I ended up on-stage at the Hoop-dee-doo review, and alot of other things, don't go expecting the "freebies" or anything because then you might be disappointed- just know that you will have a great time, freebies or no freebies
Also, take your time- don't kill yourself to do everything because it might not happen. I have been to Disney more than 14 times in my life and I have still yet to do everything (I used to go "kamado" style, but now I relax a little) Enjoy the time you have there. Also get a book about Disney- like the Passporter or the Official Guide to Disney and highlight things you would like to do or make notes about your trip.
You will have a wonderful time no matter what you do because one you are on your honeymoon and two, you are in the happiest place on earth
