Wasn't this just to change the E-Stop system? I didn't think for a second they would have both Incredicoaster and Radiator Racers down at the same time.

That's the rumor, but I don't have any inside info.

I'm over the moon excited that it is likely going to be open for our late August trip, as my kids were still too nervous to ride last time and were really hoping to get a chance to try it! (And it's my husband's absolute favourite.) We don't get to go often - it's been six years, so this feels like a bit of Disneyland magic for us tonight!

Great news all 4 of us are now big enough to ride. 2 years ago only my wife and 8 year old could ride. Now the youngest is tall enough and i agreed to give it a go so we can all ride. (Im not a roller-coaster guy so this is big for me) Sept 15th is day 1

When I look at the Daily Events Calendar, I am not seeing any closings for refurbishments at DCA after Aug 14th - Radiator Springs Racers isn’t there. Is that new? Or was it never there, just the closing from Disney announcement?

A fun thing that started today in CA is Guardians goes down at 2 and goes back up at 3 with the Monsters After Dark overlay. Same ride but with new scenes that are a little scarier.

When you say "started today," that implies an ongoing activity. Are you saying that this changeover will happen every afternoon?

I believe so during Halloween time. Everyday it will open at 8am with the normal ride then close at 2pm and reopen at 3pm with the scarier version of the ride.

Yes, they do this every year since 2017 during the Halloween season. I guess they started up a week early this year.

So maybe a dumb question, but bear with me, I've never really paid attention to refurb schedules before. However... RSR was down last time we were at DL, so I was super bummed to see that it would likely be down again on our upcoming trip. Our planned DCA day is 9/25, and sure enough it's showing as closed on the "Park Hours & Info" tab of the app.

But... 9/26 came up on the app today, and RSR isn't on the closure list for 9/26?? Can this be (somewhat) counted on? If so, I'd happily rearrange our plans a bit so we could do DCA on the 26th instead of the 25th. But I haven't seen an actual announcement of the opening date anywhere. Do they tend to over or under estimate the reopening dates on the app? Or am I just getting my hopes up for nothing, because they simply forgot to add it to the list this morning, lol?!?
