im new.....but nice !!!

thanks to every one for making me soooo welcome!!!!

Welcome scotlass to the Disboards,

I am new to posting also:). Over the last four years of "lurking," I have certainly found this community to be a very interesting and diverse one. I think that you will really enjoy it.

On another note, my brother is in Aberdeen with his family studying for his Ph.D. He and his wife have sent many positive reports about Scotland home to Canada. My mother, other brother, and sister-in-law, leave to visit him in Scotland in about three weeks. I think they are v. excited to see the country.

Once again, welcome to the Disboards!

Michael

Welcome to the Dis! This is a great place to meet up with and talk to Disney fanatics like ourselves. We are a really friendly and welcoming bunch here so don't be afraid to jump right in and start chatting away!

welcome to the DIS, I spend most of my time on the teen board, so if you have kids you should tell them to join, we have an awesome time over there.

Hello from another new member.

Scotlass, I'll even settle for the dreich days in Scotland!

I'm really wanting (needing?) to book a trip to WDW, but a pal that stays near Dunblane insists I'm overdue for a trip there first. So it looks as if WDW will have to wait another year. The additional time will just allow me to be all the better prepared, when I finally manage to get back there. Due in no small part to this forum, I might add.

I was (yes, past tense <sigh>) engaged to a girl that stays just east of Stirling and have spent considerable time in that area. And for me, a dreich day in Alba is better than any other kind of day in any other location. ;)

as i said before......." and on the 8th day God Created......SCOTLAND!!"

Dunblane is a lovely part of the country, hope you make it over.:thumbsup2

Welcome! I'm new too, but I see myself getting hooked FAST!
Might be rainy, but you live in a beautiful country! My DH and I have some Scottish heritage and decided to honeymoon in Scotland. Best trip I ever took! (Well, o.k., tied with WDW... LOL)

Good luck on the boards...
