I am in the middle of planning our second family trip to DW. We were there in December 2014 to celebrate my oldest daughter's 5th birthday. We are returning in February to celebrate my middle daughter's 5th birthday. Last time we stayed at WL for five days and loved it. However, we have since added our third daughter to our family and so we are looking to do things a little less expensive this time.
I considered a Lion King Suite at AoA and the cabins, but both ended up being on the higher end of what I want to spend. I also considered CBR for the pull down bed, but the theming isn't necessarily my cup of tea (and my youngest daughter can sleep in a pack and play as she'll only be 16 months when we travel). I also looked at POR and POFQ but ultimately decided on POFQ (even though I think I would enjoy the theming of POR more) for these reasons: small resort would fit traveling with three small children and being close to the main building no matter where our room is, having access to POR and the extra food options, the boat to DTD, and the cheapest price tag. If a discount comes out later or a free dining option arises then I may reconsider one of the more expensive options.
Does this sound good? Anything I am missing? Thanks for your input!
