im lost - how do i "subscribe"?

I want to read so many of these trip reports and see people "subscribing" to the reports. What is that and how do I get to read them? Talk about duh

When you open up the thread...go to the top of it and click on 'thread tools' and then 'subscribe to this thread'.

Now, when you go to your User CP, the threads you subscribed to will all show up in one place.

If you post in the thread, you automatically subscribe to it...which is why you see so many people posting and saying "subscribing to the thread", although all this does is add pages and pages to the actual thread.
