I'm looking for a couple of suggestions for CD's.

I'm getting pretty anxious about our upcoming trip, and would like to listen to some Disney music while I'm at work. Can anyone give me a suggestion of 2 for a CD? Especially if you didn't buy it at WDW, something I could pick up locally.

If not I'll just call to make some PS's and have them put me on hold

I have a ton of Disney cd's! For some non-park music, there are the following:

Beauty & the Beast
Little Mermaid
Disney's Greatest Hits (Volume 1-3)
Disney's Superstar Hits
Disney's Theme Park Songs, and so many more!!

I second the classic Disney box set! It is wonderful ad I am listinging to volume 4 right now. You can also pick these up individually at Target, at least I think they are still selling them. If you like Elvis the Lilo and Stitch CD is very good. I also listen to the Tarzan CD alot. Manheim Steamroller meets the Mouse is an interesting take on the classics. The rest of my Disney CDs are park related.

Bobcat - when you say "The rest of my Disney CDs are park related." Do you mean music you would hear in the parks? That's kind of what I'm looking for, I'm still going to order the set, but I'm looking for something that will give me the feeling of being there. If so where did you get them?

Alice you might try live365.com When it asks you for type of music, enter Disney. You will find several all-Disney internet radio stations which specialize in music heard in the park.

You could also call WDW merch and order the Official Album(which contains the most popular music from the parks), but with only 41 days left, you would save p&h to wait and buy it there. When you arrive at the parks, check the shops for additional cd's containing parade and Fantasmic music. Also AK has its own cd.
Those cd's are generally not available outside the parks(except via mail order).

We are loving the new DisneyMania CD - we ordered it from Media Play. Hillary Duff (Lizzy McGuire) did a great job on the Tiki Room song - it has my kids very curious about that attraction. Smashmouth did an awesome job on King Louie's song from Jungle Book. Different but cool.

La Vida Mickey has a Latin beat - way fun. We bought it for around $4 on eBay. This one has some Disney related songs and other just classic Latin music songs. It gets high marks from our Puerto Rican friend.

Mannheim Steamroller Meets the Mouse is one of my DH's favorite CDs ever. I got that one at Media Play. Its instrumental - pretty neat. We love the Ballad of Davy Crocket on that one.

Mickey's Dance Party is more juvenile but every time I hear, "The Mickey Bus is Coming", I can just imagine being on a resort bus on the way to a day of fun. Goofy does a good job with Eiffel65's "Blue".

I wish my DD was home I have been trying to get live365.com to play but I keep getting an error message. Hopefuly I'll be able to access it at work but I have a feeling it wll be blocked.

Did anyone else have a hard time getting it to play on their home PC?

I have almost every Disney CD,movie, musical or WDW theme park related. I found the best theme park songs that I have never found on any CD's by downloading them and burning my own WDW CD's.
Some of my faves that I found:
Monorail announcements
The newer Spetromagic (not main street electrical parade)
The entire Fantasy in the sky mix of songs!
Music from peter pan's flight, snow white, pooh, as well as many of the songs related to epcot, disney studios, animal kingdom resorts!
Those are all I can think of at the top of my head but check it out. It's better than purchasing CD's and then they don't have what you want!

Hey All, If there are any CD'S that you must have when you come her to WDW is the Illuminations--Reflection of Earth CD. If you have ever seen the fireworks this is everything except the fireworks in the background. What I recommend to my guests are to buy the cd put it in their surround sound stero and then have someone in the family go light some fireworks it will feel like u never left ur vacation.

Another CD to get is the Magic In the Streets. If u can find it. It has all the parade songs on it. It is a very good CD.

Yall might wanna check ebay cause they have some cool cds. I have the millenuim cd what a good cd.

Oh well off to the land of the mouse for a fun day at Work. I work in Epcot the best park ever..

The entire Haunted Mansion soundtrack just played prior to this track. I signed up for the free seven day membership... but I'm sure I'll pay for this site (in more ways than one!)

Those of you who have the Haunted Mansion CD that is currently sold at WDW, how is it? My last 2 trips I've been tempted to buy it but keep chickening out for fear I won't enjoy it. Would you recommend it?
