Im looking at this Trailmanor....any advice?

Yea, that looks pretty good. If you have the towing capacity, I'd definitely go for the hybrid over a comparably priced pop-up.

That one does look nice! Rog's truck could pull that, couldn't it?

That looks REALLY nice!
BACK OFF Ami...its MINE!!!!!:rotfl2:

Yeah...its right in my towing range with the cart...I left them a message.I'll leave tonight if they call me back and there are no major problems with it!!
My fingers are crossed so tight they are about to break!

Thanks Donnie....ok,she called back, here's the cons.......its got some small holes from "field mice" in the screens, and it "had" a very small leak in the roof that has been repaired and was caught early. The title is being delivered from the bank and may take a week to arrive.

the pro's.....theyd knock off $250 since Im travelling from New Orleans and take it off of craigslist right now, and hold it for me until the title arrives.

The roof leak has me scared...she's sounds honest enough, but how can you really tell how honest someone is without looking them in the eye.

Should I shy away? Its an awful long haul for another disapointment.

Opinions.....suggestions.....please!!!!

Rog,
I've said this before and I'll say it again. Wait until the premium one comes along. There's just way too many deals out there. I feel bad I have Christy's now that you are buying because you had the chance at her's. It's a 9.9 on a scale of 1-10 and there are more out there just like it.

I just thought of someone I knew who was selling a nice pop up and called them and it's gone too. They don't last long.

Have them take a bunch more pictures of and send them to you. Especially focus on the area where the leak was repaired and the holes in the screen. It should give you a better feeling if it is worth the trip or not.

The only problem with the leak is that you can't see inside the roof sandwich know to what extent if any there may be damage from the leak. If it really was a small leak, then it's probably not an issue. If it was a huge gash in the roof then I'd worry. But more pics should help clear those things up.

One thing I would do first is have them take it to a scale and send/fax you a copy of the certified weigh slip of what it weighs "right now" with only the stuff in it that they are providing with the camper.

That 3500 seems low for a hybrid. That may be the base weight of that model, but what does it weigh with the options in there. You'd be surprised.

Rog, you will be suprised how a " small leak" can rot a ceiling. We had a drip over our sky light in our tt, my dh ended up having to replace a part of our roof, that one drip caused more damage than you could imagine. Small leak or not, that's serious, wait for another unless your a real handy man.

I bet I could get to it faster! :lmao:

I know the area pretty well and it's real close to my BIL. Want me to ask him if he'll go check it out for you?

Ami...very nice of you to offer!! Does your BIL know what to look for (cuz I sure wouldnt know what to look for...heck, I wouldnt even be able to smell any mildew...Id have to bring Gina along to smell it for me!!) If your BIL has the extra time, Id be more than appreciative to get an honest, un-biased opinion of its condition.

Terri....I know what you're saying about not really knowing what damage lies beneath.I AM pretty handy, but Im also pretty lazy....so Im not sure.....something(namely YOU GUYS) is telling me this is a bit too risky. But if Amy's BIL takes a look and says it looks worth the price....hmmm, I dont know...Im just so ready to get something that I may be too willing to jump on a deal that may not be all its cracked up to be.

please buy one soon. You can buy mine.

I'll ask him. He has a camper and once was in the mobile home selling business so I think he'll know what to look for...besides, his sniffer works just fine :goodvibes Depending on where it is in Davie County it may only be moments from his house. I'll let you know!

Heck if he can't maybe I'll make a road trip on Friday! It's not more than about 2 hours from me!

Well....the listing has been removed...I guess someone snagged it.
