"I'm Just Here For the Food" A Late October Dining Review Updated x 4 5/07 Now Complete

Isn't it actually pureed cauliflower? I think it is pureed cauliflower at dinner and mashed potatoes at lunch. That would explain why they were bland and had a weird texture. :rotfl: I am not super into that idea myself, it seems to me like a diet substitution when you don't have any other choice, not something a restaurant would CHOOSE to have on the menu. but that's just me.

Great report. I am probably still going to roll the dice on Hollywood & Vine Holiday Dine. maybe lol.

AllEars lists it as mashed potatoes, so who knows. I'm 90% certain it was mashed potatoes, but if it was cauliflower that might explain why it tasted weird.

the allears menu is over a year old. Disney lists it at cauliflower. I'm not sure why the heck they would do that at dinner when they have mashed potatoes at lunch but they do... maybe to fancy it up? it is seasonal veggies (looks like asparagus in your photo) and pureed cauliflower at dinner. That just outright ruined the dish for dinner for me. give me potatoes or give me death!

We were there 6 months ago and as I said I'm 90% certain it was potatoes not cauliflower (I also remember reading here that BOG changed their menu not long adter we came home). I'm not sure why they would make the change unless they are trying to make it healthier or appeal to people who are avoiding carbs.

Your munchkins are so adorable!!!! They really are good eaters and not nearly as picky as some children are!!

Thank you for taking the time to write the report for us!!!
