My DVC contract was approved today and we close in early January...let the planning fun begin!
200 points at VWL...which I fell in love with on our trip to WDW last week. I rented points for the trip this year from Gary D., who was very professional and pleasant to work with I might add, and if anyone is thinking about renting points as a prelude to joining DVC, I say go for it!
We actually stayed at the BWV on this past trip, and the moment I walked into our room (2-bedroom for 7 of us), I was astounded by how gorgeous the Villas are, how well they are kept up -- I feel secure that our dues are being well-used for maintenance.
We toured around VWL during the week, and between the pine and lake setting and the majesty and serenity of the resort, I was hooked. I could spend a week there without going to a single park and feel it was a vacation well spent. Okay, we'll probably hit a few if not four parks on our next trip. :>
My guide is Bernard, who has been great, and Carol who works in the Credit group has been wonderful as well.
Hurray! And may I add that it is an ongoing pleasure to visit this Forum. My best to everyone here.
