I'm in a reservation pickle and need some advice

Our planned days are:
Arrive at the Fort 2/18 & leave 2/25

last year we stayed in 400 and love being so close to the marina

the pickle:
full hook up available 2/18-2/25
premium available 2/18-2/24
preferred available 2/18-2/23

i have the full & premium booked...what is the likelihood of adding 1 day to the premium or 2 days to the preferred. we would really like to be in 100/200/300/400/500 or 700.

what is the probability of getting our request of the 400 loop with so many premium loops available?

I'd go with the premium and take the chance. Most likley they will have the extra night for you. Worse case is you have to move. They have told us everytime we may have to but we never did.

Not sure if it works for Disney but when you need to talk to someone just push 0 a bunch of times and most of the time it gets you straight through.

So, you have two reservations and only intend on using one of them? So, you're locking up a camping spot for a week, taking it away from someone who is trying to make a reservation in advance, as most do that don't live in the area. At the last minute, you'll cancel one of them so as to get a full refund? Am I correct in my assumptions? I can't tell you how many times I try to make a reservation, only to have nothing be available...until 5-6 days before said arrival date because of people that make reservations and hold camping spots they do not intend to actually use, preventing another camper from making a reservation. Pretty selfish behavior really.

As Disney builds thousands of hotel rooms and DVC there is no increase in the Fort. We are forced to play games with reservations. We are only and hour from the Fort and can't get holiday reservations unless booked a year in advance. Things happen in a year and situations change and so do our reservations. We try to cancel early when we can. Not to mention Disney is holding our multiple holidays reservations money for a year.

Would love to see a motor coach campground added to the Fort and not DVC. Been camping for 40+ years and love the Fort.
