I'm in a planning mood but ...

I can't see us being able to get back to WDW for another 3 or 4 years so why am I in a planning mood?

We've booked a holiday to Center Parcs in Holland this year and you'd have thought I'd be planning that, but no - I'm planning (and forever replanning) our next (but first without the children) WDW trip.

Oh, well, I suppose that's why I like visiting these boards (or perhaps it's because I visit these boards too often that I can't get WDW out of my system.)

I know what you mean, Libby. Planning a non-disney holiday is just not the same. I probably plan a little bit of my next WDW holiday every single day, even when we don't have one booked. And planning your first one without the children is quite different too - you can do all sorts of new things, take your time a bit more, try different restaurants etc.

I know exactly where you are coming from. I know we can't go until 2012 but I have been planning and researching since Summer 09. It's ridiculous really but I enjoy day-dreaming about it.

I hear ya. I would love to get back to Disney asap but find when DH gets round to taken holidays we always go back home as being away from family and friends for a long time its nice to get back to spend time with them and to spend sometime in our home.

We had planned to go to Disney next year but have now found out we have two big family weddings so will have to fly home for them using up DH's holidays again. Looks like 2012 for us.

Maybe a trip to DLP would be in order? It's nearby and I know it's not as good value as WDW but there are cheap deals to be had!

Thanks for the idea but it's no so much that I'm missing Disney - just the planning!
