Welcome back, Emma. Good for you for standing up to the queue jumpers.![]()

How tall are you again? I think you're about my height 5ft 2"?You must be pretty scary if the queue jumpers didn't dare go past you. Did you say anything or just block them?
Good for you! I'm going to stand my ground too - you have inspired me. I'm sure I have read somewhere that queue jumpers risk being ejected from the park. I think they should be kicked out! Nobody wants to queue, but you have to!
I want your room at the DLH. What a great view. I emailed to ask for a room with a 'nice view' and they emailed back, saying that they had allocated me 'a very nice room' but that none of the rooms had a view of the theme park. It's probably just a standard reply, but it was nice to get a reply!
When I checked in the lovely guy at reception kept saying i had a lovely room and he wasnt wrong. I only wanted a garden view but got a lovely view on WDS aswell.
Queue jumpers get away with jumping the queue because people let them get away with it, I don't have mug tattoed across my head lol. Some parent kept letting her kid hit Kyra's buggy while waiting for Enchanted Candleabration untill i grabbed the childs hand (it was on Kyras buggy) and shouted at him to remove his hand and stop it, not sure he understood but the mother apologised, then i had to tell her child to move its big head out the way so Kyra could see, might sound harsh but we had been waiting a lot longer then them in the cold. If you want a decent view arrive early.
I'll get off my soap box now![]()
I'm right behind you. So often I bite my tongue and hold back - and then I regret it. I would never let my children behave like that, so why put up with it from other people's kids? We were watching a show and a grown woman came and stood in front of Jess. I took her hand and walked right in front of the woman and said, 'There now you can see without any grown ups pushing in front'. GGGGRRRR!
I have also allowed strangers' kids to sit at the front of shows with my kids. I often ask parents if their kids want to squeeze next to mine. I don't mind, as long as they don't push in front or obscure their view.
