About some of my ADR choices, how hard is it to get ADr'S the week you are there, Im going in May and Im thinking as I walk around I may get inspired to change my ressies, we generally dont eat until late so im guessing after prime kiddie time...I couldnt even tell which ones I would choose so Im asking this as a general for all restaurants. :figment: :figment:

I would decide now and make ADR's now. When we were there last June we ate at Teppakanayi and wanted to eat there again but they were booked the next 7 days of our trip. Our second to last night there we wanted to go out to eat, I spent 30 minutes on the phone with a CM and they couldn't get us into anything we wanted that night. Get them now!!

It really depends. We've gone in May for the past 3 years and going again in May this year. It really depends on the restaurant. We've been to Le Cellier at dinner and they've turned people away, saying no way no how (not quite like that though). While waiting for our ADR for lunch at Sci-Fi, they told walk-ups it'd be at least a 2 hour wait. It's really hard to say. I'd say it's better to have them and cancel, then to wait and then be disappointed that what you want is not available. :)

Depends on the restaurant. We made last minute ADRs several times in May but other more popular places, like Alfredo's, was booked and turning anyone away without one.

You won't starve, likely, you may just not get into the top few you want to try. I think it's always better to have one and then try to change once there if something comes up then go unprepared =)

Ive already made all of my ressies months ago, I was just having second thoughts about places like Boma, and I also left a few nights open so I can do OOP pocket nights and didnt want to restrict myself, Im just hoping if I do change my mind since I do presfer dining late that Ill be able to get in.

anywhere in Epcot, the night we had our AR's at LeCellier. They kept saying this to people as they approached the podium. I would say make some just to have a few to fall back on. A few of the not as popular restaurants, a few of the nights we were there had availabilities. (I changed a few of our breakfast Ar's and had no problem, but they were not character meals)

I think it could be difficult to get into any of the really popular locations for a TS meal. There are plenty of restaurants to pick from, but just be prepared to wait if you decide not to get ADR's. Like you, I plan a few nights where we don't have ADRs, but I don't plan to do TS those nights. We'll likely go to one of the many CS locations.

BTW, in regards to Boma... they have a unique menu that typically has something that everyone can eat. Worst case scenario, you could eat chicken fingers, spaghetti and meatballs, and mac&cheese. When we ate there, I tried a little of everything, some I loved, others I only had a small bite. As a whole, I really enjoyed it as did most everyone else in our group of 8. However, my younger brother (26 at the time) is not very adventurous and mostly stuck to the chicken tenders and dessert bar... :confused3
