Over the past few weeks, I've noticed that Benji has gotten quite forgetful. He never remembers what he had for lunch. He'll tell us something, we'll acknowledge it, ten minutes later, he tells us again. Or his brother will say something right in front of him, and a few minutes later, Benji will say the same thing.

I'm not sure if it's typical for his age, if he's preoccupied with Daddy's deployment, or if it's something worse. He has his next MRI on Wednesday, which happens to be the one year anniversary of his diagnosis. I want to mention it to his oncologist, but what if I do, open up a whole can of worms, and it's nothing? What if I'm making too much of it?

Maybe he's always been forgetful, and I'm just noticing more because of the MRI and the anniversary. I just don't know.

I would let the Dr. know. I know a child who forgot his B-day and it took him 6 months to relearn it. He still can't remember certain things.

you need to mention it, It might be nothing but better be sure :D

It couldn't hurt to let the Dr. know. It could very well be he is just preoccupied with Dad and not paying attention. My prayers are with you.

Better safe than sorry. I would mention it. Keeping you in my prayers.

Let the doctor know about your observations, they could be signs there's something going on. It could be nothing and I'd rather know it's nothing then wonder.

My thought are with you both.

Always best to check, Loriann, IMO. Put your mind at ease, ask. Hope all continues good.

It's good to have it checked out. It will make you feel alot better. Prayers for Benji and you too.

I would mention it also... as others said, better be safe than sorry. I hope all will continue to go well for him and you all

Yes, I would mention it. You'll feel better doing that alone and stop the wondering about it that can drive you up the wall. Hugs and prayers for you all!

Yep, I'm going to mention it. Maybe it's fallout from the last tumor he had. thanks for the support. It means alot to me!!!:grouphug:
You all are awesome!

Discuss it with his physician, sweetie.

I'm praying that it is nothing. Keep us posted?
