I'm having a problem ordering the GOH badges...

I called Downtown Disney (economical choice) and I spoke to one lady and she sd they could ship them to our resort or home.
When I called bk, it was a different lady and she sd they couldn't send them to the resort.
The only reason I thought about sending them to the resort instead of home was they sd they couldn't engrave them. I wanted to give them to them already engraved.

Have any of you had better luck w/Downtown Disney or heard something conflicting like this? Was the 2nd gal just mistaken? Should I call back--what do you guys think?
I would really like to have them engraved ahead of time but don't want to have to pay extra for it (since I'm buying 9).

Both ladies were very nice and helpful, though.

Just call back. You can DEFINITELY do it, have them engraved and waiting for you at your Disney resort... We just did it 3 weeks ago with no problems. Good luck!

GOH Badges are $6.39 with tax.

What purpose does the GOH badge/pin serve?

It's just a pin w/ yours/their name on it and the CM's will sometimes call them by their name. It's just something special extra to do for your family if you wish.

I'm doing it for all 9 of mine just as a surprise and something sweet that has the 50th anniversary on it.

I would love to have a badge waiting at our resort for my DD. We were going to get her one at DTD but having it waiting at our resort would be fun. Do they come in different styles? Ordering from the Laughing Place isn't a option for me - shipping to Canada would likely be the same price as the badge!

I believe there are all kinds and either someone here or @ the Christmas store might be able to tell you...sometimes the other websites have pictures of some. Ex: laughingplace.com...
