My ds has been having headaches with vomiting in the morning, so today i took him in to the dr and he has to have an MRI to rule out anything.

You all are thinking, that this is Benji I'm talking about right? After all, he's the child who survived the brain tumor. That would make sense, wouldn't it?

No, it's not Benji. It's my oldest son, Josh. We spent six hours in the ER yesterday with josh writhing in pain and throwing up. He keeps having these attacks. The Dr thinks it's migraines but wants to be totally sure. It was like this hellish de ja vu. The Dr even said some of the same inane Let's-act-like-this-is-nothing-when-it-COULD-be-something stuff that Dr Sawyer said with Benji. The Dr even made a comment about how kids get headaches and it **almost always** turns out to be nothing. "Hey, Doc, let me introduce you to my son, Benji." I'm scared to death. I so want it to be migraines. I can't take anything more serious than that with my children. I just can't The MRI is actually scheduled 45 minutes before my dh's V-snip. So, I really need prayer right now. I'm scared to death.

I'm so sorry you are going through this :guilty:

Thoughts and prayers for you and your family

:grouphug:

My prayers are with you.

“…do not fear, for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you . . .” Isaiah 41:10

I've put this on my prayer list. Please keep us posted.

I am so sorry you are having to worry about this. I will pray it is just a headache phase he is going through (I got terrible headaches like that in my pre and early teens). When is his MRI? Saying prayers. :grouphug:

I will keep him/you in my prayers.

BTW, this is how my DS's migraines started out, headache and throwing up. He was about 12 yrs old. Thank goodness for Imitrex (DD and I need it occasionally too). We also discovered, after many Dr's, that most of his were caused by TMJ. Wearing a nightguard has gotten rid of 90% of his. :) I will pray your DS's is something simple like this.

Prayers on the way Loriann, May God be with you in this scary time!

I'm so sorry you have to go through this nightmare. Saying a prayer that all turns out well.

I feel your pain and am so sorry you are going through this with your son. I can imagine how worried you are not knowing, but pls try to think positive and keep the faith. Know that many prayers and positive thoughts headed your way for Josh.

The terrible pain and constant vomiting sounds very much like migraine. Sadly, our little 11yo grandson has had much testing as he suffers w/terrible debiltating migraines about 4+ yrs. We attribute it somewhat to a week long lockdown at his school during the MD sniper incident :sad1:. Praise God he has gotten much much better, but I very well know the pain and worry you are going through Mommy ((big hugs)). Godspeed ^i^

I've also added you to my prayer list...I wish there was more I could do! Please keep us posted and keep your spirits up.

I hope all works out. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts.

I hope it turns out to be just migraines, which are certainly bad enough. I know a brain tumor is the last thing your family wants to go through again.

I said a prayer for your son Josh. :grouphug:
