Great Great News,
I have my watch back, I decided today to go back to every shop that I visited on Wednesday and ask again, first six shops no luck, but I did remember calling into the post office and as I had not been able to get hold of them by phone, thought it was worth a go. Its a massive Post Office in the middle of Cardiff Town Centre, I went to the enquiries desk to ask, and lo and behold she pulled it out of the drawer for me. She had no idea who handed it in as nobody had left a name, but that person will never know how grateful I am to them.
