Im Gutted......UPDATED POST 24..

Im on a day off today as I had to go to the doctors for some tests, after that as the weather was nice I thought I would pop into town and have a look around,just about to go back to my car when I realised that I had lost my D&G Watch that I had from my friends at work to celebrate my 25th Anniversary working with the companyIt has quite an unusal catch on it, and when pulling the carrier bags off my arm, I must have unhooked it. Im so upset about it, not for the value but for the fact that it was bought for me for a special reason.

I have tried to retrace my steps and left my phone number in a number of stores in the hope that if it is handed in they will get in touch with me. Please send some pixie dust that some kind soul might hand it in.

Sue sending you loads of hugs , & what a shame is it worth putting a poster up or an advert in the local paper to see if some one might be honest enough to return it, & it's worth reporting this to the police in case it's handed over. Thanks for your good wishes guys, I have phoned the police station and they have given me a report number for Insurence purposes and said that if its handed in they will be in touch.

Im not even sure if Im covered on my contents insurence for this, but its worth digging out the policy later on just to see, no doubt my premiums will go up if I claim I have found the box it came in and the Certificate of Authenticity and will see if this helps with my claim at all.

This is another thing in a long catalouge of upsetting things to happen to me in the last few months and as I said to a friend of mine the other day, Im absolutly sure I must have broken a mirror sometime in the last year as its one thing after another.

Just checking but you didnt help anyone down a flight of stairs? Maybe they were on crutches?
Only there was a scam recently where this happened. The person would hold your wrist and in the time that it took to help them down the stairs they would undo your strap and pocket your watch. Sad but true.
I hope that isnt the case and it gets handed in.
