I've read on a few other TRs about the Southwest staff. I think that could definitely put your mind at ease! I hate the anticipation of taking off, so that would be a good distraction for me

Yeah - it really did give the flight a more relaxed feel. We're using them again in a few weeks - so we'll see if this was a fluke or if it's normal.

I'll admit it it seems silly to "wrap up" a 3 day trip. But here I go

Lessons Learned

• Always have a base-line plan in case the aliens come down and suck you DH's brains out and he can no longer make a decision to save his life.
  
• Going solo in Disney isn't nearly as scary as I thought it would be (wish I would have learned that lesson in January)
  
• Labor Day weekend isn't nearly the crowd-fest I thought it would be - great time to go.
  
• The single rider line at RnRC is just bad - avoid at all costs.

Another thing I was surprised at was the number of new things we were able to do - even with this being our 5th trip in 2 years.

All in all I wish we would have started these weekend trips earlier instead of waiting until June. We could have fit in more!

Okay, we'll I suppose that's about it for this trip.

Good news is we leave in 13 days for our next one
Our next trip will be packed with food (and wine festival), friends (our best man and his dgf are joinng us), family (Panic and her dbf are joining us too) and fun!

In the meantime, I'll still (try) to keep up with my PTR for December (which really also has turned into an October PTR too)

Haha, I really waited so long to catch up on your TR that there are obviously no issues with pictures anymore. I saw when you updated that they were back up, but I knew I didn't have time to just sit and enjoy. I'm here reading to sit and enjoy! Haha, and then I'm going to go take a nap because I don't want to finish my lesson plans ...

I love that your DH was pointing out all the things from the Hidden Magic book! Haha, I know I'm going to have to reread it before February, and I'll be doing that to my group! I told them in advance already and that even if they didn't want to hear it, they were going to hear it anyway!!!

That's bad that you had to wait there when people with the GAC were getting on the ride. When we were on the GAC line, the CM helping us communicated with the CM on the other side to tell them to leave the last row or the last two rows free. They didn't put anyone on standby in that row so that they wouldn't wait. Of course, people were wondering why they couldn't stand there, but I'm sure they figured it out once the train pulled up.

DFi LOVES the Star Wars Lego sets! Whenever we go anywhere that has them, he HAS to look at them, and I stand there waiting and hoping that he won't ever want to spend that much money on it because I have no clue where we'd keep it in the teeny tiny apartment we'll eventually be getting!

I love the room with the TInk and the villain hands! I've either never been there before, or I was dense and didn't notice them.

I want to go to Fulton's JUST to try that crab cheese dip! I love those cracker things, and I can only imagine that a dip (and I LOVEEE dips, I dip EVERYTHING) would make it that much better! I just hate that the stuff they have there is so expensive, at least compared to the $6 Earl of Sandwich sandwich that we'd be satisfied with eating.

I never liked West Side either. It just doesn't have enough of a Disney feel! I do want to head over next trip to check out the Vinylmation store even though I too am resisting it! I don't know what I'd do with them. I'd rather use that money spent on a Vinylmation and buy an appetizer at Fulton's just so I could try that crab cheese dip ... haha.

Oy, the bus drama part of your trip reports always get so tense! Haha, they MUST know that you and DH are waiting. Why else does it keep happening to you? At least you got the almonds! Since we're doing Amtrak, I said to Howard that we have to pick up snacks specifically for the ride back that we can ONLY have while on the train. That'll make it a little less painful to hop on board something that'll be taking us home (and for those 20+ hours!).

DH loves the hidden magic book, he reads it in the morning before we go to the park so the stuff is fresh in his brain.

The way they handled the GAC while we were there was quite weird... they kept piling people behind us too. Weird.

Haha... I have the same fear when DH looks at the Star Wars lego stuff. I keep saying under my breath - please don't buy it, please don't buy it....

I'd never noticed the villain hands in that room before it's the jewelery room, so I knew I'd been there before, I just must not have looked up. It was kind of cool!

Fultons is expensive. But at least when we were there, they had a special for Disney Visa holders for 30% off. I heard the table behind us get the discount and for 4 of them their total was like $30. Not EOS cheap, but not bad at all.

I love those almonds. I branched out and got sea salt caramels instead this past time - but I'm sad I didn't get the almonds! That would be a fun treat for the train ride!
