Most likely they switched out a room that was assigned to someone who didn't checkin yet. That's why I always try to checkin early.

BWV isn't disabled friendly with one set of elevators in the middle of the building. If they would have also put an elevator at each end, the disabled could get around much easier.

If you need a preferred room (close),mother you need to pay and book it. Don't expect they'll provide for free.

There is no preferred room close to lobby to pay for. What are you referring to?

The booking is at POR - I guess they have preferred rooms there now? It's been a long time since we've stayed there.

My DH and I took things easy.
He had to stop more than he thought he would, but I was fine with that.
We had a wonderful vacation and can't wait to go back.
But I think this time we'll get him a wheelchair and request an HA room.
