Honestly, we bought a 55 inch Sony LCD/rear projectionTV, and I only tipped the guy $10, and I didn't feel cheap at all. The TV only weighed 102 pounds, and we had already bought the stand we wanted and had it in place. Dh hooked up the entire thing himself (he had also prewired our house...he does this sort of thing on weekends for extra money here and there) so I didn't feel they needed to be paid a lot for rolling a big cardboard box into my house and helping DH set it on a stand.
Now, the next question is, do you have the mackdaddy remote control? We just got this last week. I went from FIVE remotes (TV, receiver, DVD, VCR, Cablebox/DVR) to ONE. This is the best thing ever. I could land planes with it! It has rechargeable batteries, has a little LCD screen, and it was so easy to set up and use. It also fixes itself if a component doesn't work correctly. You press "help" and it goes through and asks you questions. I hated it at first, I'm resistant to change, but now I love having ONE remote. Sony also makes a good universal remote that is actually a touch screen.
