I just called disney dining to change a ADR....so I decide to check on my other ones too...My 5:30 ADR for October 5th at LTT has been canceled????? HOW THE HHHHHHH*****LL*** ??? did that happen! I have my conf # - I sure as heck didn't cancel it...I decided to hang up and calm down before I ripped the poor CM's head off. Is there anything I can do????????

yes, you can call back... share the confirm number and ask by whom and when it was cancelled...

do you have adrs double booked for that day/time? do you have another adr for the next day that may have been mis-entered for the same day/time? if so, the computer may have deleted one (or both)...

hopefully they will be able to reinstate it w/no problem...

Boy do I feel your pain, except mine was even worse...I was changing an ADR and the CM cancelled my HDDR that was on a completely different day!!! WHAT??!!??!!??!! (One that I had made over 2 months ago, right at the beginning of the free dining plan.)
I was so mad!!!!! :furious: Giving me another reservation just doesn't cut it with that show. I ended up just hanging up, because I knew way more than this CM did, and she wasn't doing anything to help or make up for her mistake, so I called back to a different CM, and I think we were able to get it settled. (With that show I will never know for sure though.....)
I knew there had to be SOMETHING that could be done since it was CM error. I am still so mad at the way the original CM didn't handle it.

Try calling back and maybe they can figure out what happened. Some CMs are definitely more helpful than others! Sorry for venting, but I do feel your pain! I don't even dare change anymore because I am afraid of what else will happen. :sad2:

I'm definitely no expert, but MK does close at 6pm that day to prep for the Halloween party. Maybe they thought you couldn't be served, eat, and be out of the park on time.... Just my 0.02, but probably not even worth that.

Thanks everyone....I decided to let Sam at Dreams Unlimited try to help me. I had made all of my own ADR's, but asked her for help with this one. I'll let you know what happens. I know MNSSHP is that night, we have tickets for that night..THAT"s why I wanted a 5:30 ADR so we can eat while the park is getting ready for the party! Same exact thing I did last year.

It's hard to not call back my self.....but I"m practicing less control...if Sam doesn't get anywhere herself, I WILL call back.

That happened to me in May. One of my reservations was cancelled that I didn't cancel. I made many phone calls about this to Disney Dining and at the restaurant and they said nothing could be done. The restaurant was booked up for that night. No one knows who cancelled the reservation. I hope everything works out for you.

WHEW! I'm so glad that's over!!!! The CM I had talked to earlier must have put in the wrong ADR #...when Sam checked for me it was still there!!! WAHOO!!!

Sorry for my "little" meltdown! :rotfl:

But I'm happy now  :cheer2:

Call me lana backwards but.....

I keep my ADRs in a spreadsheet and note the confirmation number, date and time I made it, CM with whom I spoke, etc. In columns to the right of that, I note each time I have spoken with a CM and confirmed it. I never tie my ADRs to the resort confirmation #, only my home or my cell number.

I've noticed that if you try and handle multiple ADRs in the same call, the CM can get confused. This is especially true when you go from booking something new then asking about previously made ADRs. I realize it can be a pain but I'm of the belief that it's easiest to make one or two new reservations per call, then hang up and do the same until you're done. If you want to confirm your ADRs, it might be safer to do it in a separate call.

Good luck in getting it back!
