If I bug you too much about helping me open things, or hang on to things while I get my just about me - I DEEPLY DEEPLY DEEPLY APOLOGIZE!!!!! I have been having, since last night, some severe muscle spasms around and under my incision. I'm going to the doc tomorrow for him to check it out and make sure things are okay. But after I have these, I find I can't open a bag (I just tried to open my bag of Chex Morning Mix and it really hurt) or even pick something up. So I figured I'd apologize now in case I forget when I ask you to do something.

Now the hard part is - I don't know how in the world I'm going to be able to fish!!!!!

Don't know what kind of surgery or how long it's been since,, but hope this helps-----After the last operation, but during the 6 week recovery I experienced extreme PAIN in and around the area in incision.....I go to the Dr. He tells me it's a good pain---- A what? Now I can hardly move let alone pick up anything. Dr. said when they cut It is a straight line but your muscles overlap every which way. So when they close they sew in a straight line---so as the muscles mend they try to get back to the over laping every which way ---they were before the operation. Disclaimer---This was in MY case----Yours may be totally different. You are doing the smartest thing -let the Dr. know so he can evaluate........

I open all the doors for my husband---(Dale has Lou Gehrigs)----so I'm an expert door opener --I even pick up any fallen items---hard for him to stand even with a walker so bending over is out of the question.

Sounds like this is a real caring group of people who go out of their way to help others-------I have a feeling you won't have to ask----- They will jsut see a need and help......

Thanks guys. It is very frustrating!!!! I thought I'd be so much better by now. I just have to remember not to strain it too much in the next couple of days and to relax when I'm at WDW and not worry too much about it!

Chris, we are just so glad you are able to make the trip. You will have many people willing to assist you whatever the need. I hope the dr tells you it is just part of the healing process. Bring a little extra meds with you (if you have pain meds, make sure you have it with you!) Often after full days it is hard to sleep if is throbbing.
