EclecticWAHM: Wow -your company's been around awhile! I started my group 5 years ago because (as a soprano) I got tired of always being at the mercy of people who would hire me. I would hear people say, "make your own opportunities," so that's exactly what I did!

I run the business completely on my own. I do everything, in addition to singing most of the gigs, which can be exhausting! Singing, contracts, marketing, assigning singers, book-keeping.....it goes on! But it's also a great way to give work to my singer friends. Everyone who sings with me is someone that I've sung with before in other capacities, OR they came really highly recommended from a mutual singer friend.

I ended up getting the flu after Rachael Ray, which led to some difficulties with gigs, but I got it to work.

Yup - weekends are BUSY in December! I can't remember the last time I went to a Christmas party where I wasn't the hired musical help! I guess before I started the business - haha!

I THINK that it's an animal that has had its tail bobbed. There are many cats that are bobtailed. But horses can also have their tails bobbed. That's my best guess.

It's such a fun job! Our group is largely musical theater performers and we've all worked with each other on shows. The group changes a bit year to year, but we have around 36 singers and they keep us pretty busy all season.

And you're so right - I can't remember the last Christmas party I attended as a guest. Always performing!
