Man, I knew I had heard something about that a few years ago. He was a halfway decent TV actor too, it's a shame when they go so young. That's a tough business to be in I bet, lots of hopes and dreams of being famous that end up being shortlived.

I remember him from Ladybugs as well, that was a funny movie. Heck I even remember that Chuck Norris movie he was in, but that one was kind of corny. I guess once all the work went away it just wasn't the same for him.

And speaking of amoebas, I was watching that show on Discover Channel, Survivorman, on my lunch break, he was in the swamps of south Georgie. Halfway in, he starts telling a story about how a young kid a few years ago was swimming in some water near the swamp, had an amoeba enter his ear and the kid was dead 5 days later. Go figure

So, what else has anybody seen being filmed at WDW? We watched part of an eposide of Family Matters being filmed at MGM once! It was out by the dinosaur ice cream place!

Do you ever watch that episode? When the kids and I need a little Disney fix, we watch one of those ABC sitcom going to Disney World specials and that one is our favorite. We think the part when the girl steals Eddie and Waldo Faldo Geraldo's truck was filmed somewhere on the banks of Bay Lake at Fort Wilderness (just from the way it looks and the Cypress trees). "I'm going to have fun, Harriet, I'm going to have fun!!"

At MGM we (my kids) were invited to stay for a concert to be filmed on NY Ave that would star that blonde kid who was the younger brother of the other blonde pop star who was in a boy band. They were filming the summer concert series (I think it was called) but we had places to go, rides to ride, so we passed on that opportunity.

We also happened upon the filming of the DVC DVD. We saw them in EPCOT in front of the Mexican Pavilion. They had cameras in front of a girl who was reading lines and someone was holding up a tin-foil covered science fair project board beside her head. I took her picture because I knew she had to be someone famous and *then* we asked who she was. So if anyone has a DVC video and there's a girl in a green shirt hosting it WE HAVE HER PICTURE, WOW! I know you don't believe me, I'll go look for her picture.

Another time was quite scary, we came upon the filming of a show but something went horribly wrong and the crew didn't know we were there. There was fire everywhere, water pouring out toward us and a tanker truck almost slammed into us. I'm thinking of suing Disney.

New to the boards, I couldn't pass up replying to this one. My brother worked at Disney when SandBlast was being taped and ended up being one of the contestants. He Last 2 shows until his teammate twisted her ankle. He only just recently tossed away the shorts he wore on the show. Red Sandblast ones. LOL

Amazing!!!! The same EXACT thing happened to us!!!! We should make it a class action suit!!

I remember several years ago there was a green screen display in Innoventions where you would look like you were on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. They had monitors with the script and the people watching could watch other monitors with you sitting next to Jay. I did it and there were a bunch of Japanese tourists who must have thought I was really on the Tonight Show - they cheered when I was finished, shook my hand and had their pictures taken with me. And you guys thought I was just some soap stealing, Kungaloosh drinking, scooter riding shmuck.

Great! More Youtube video watching now for the weekend! Just searched and found a 6 part series of one of the Thunder in Paradise shows on YouTube that was filmed at the GF - looks pretty good! I'll try to post the link below:

My Little cousin was interviewed by Howard Cosell I think... and she got to hit a homerun off of some baseball player... Nolan Ryan, I could be totally off on this one though.
