KevinM said:Actually, we are staying off-site this year and plan on spending 9 or 10 days at the parks. If we didn't have APs, that would cost $90 or $100. Not exactly a few dollars.
However, I understand your point. I guess it's a matter of perspective.
I told my friends that I didn't see the problem, as they are only taking a parking spot that the onsite guest was entitled to but didn't use. If they save enough money in the week to eat dinner or get an extra souvenier, good for them.
We routinely give away fastpasses that we can't or don't want to use to perfect strangers. Are they entitled to get in the fastpass line even though they didn't arrive early enough to get them? I see it as no one is getting hurt, so they can have them. The same with a parking pass. Kinda.![]()
The onsite guest is only entitled to it if they have a vehicle or some other reason they made need one.
Hey, can I jump in the Poly pool since some people who are staying there are at the parks and not using the pool as they are "entitled" to?
Just like your budget at home, the money has to come from somewhere. You may say that they are just lining their pockets. Well, duh! They are a business, that is what they are supposed to do. Don't like it, don't go.
