I'm Going to Disneyland!

Hi all,

I will be going to DL in 1 1/2 weeks and didn't want to miss anything, so I'll be putting together my "todo" list here online. Please let me know if I have missed something!

1. Make character(s) - Can I do this at VMK Central and/or Innovations in Tomorrowland?

2. Ride the new Monsters, Inc. ride - collect card for golden door teleporter (not sure if the ride will be open...hoping it will)

3. Go after "gift with purchase cards" Series 1 (6 cards)

4. Do Quests - Adventureland, Frontierland, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland

5. What is at VMK Central on Main Street. Terminals and quest stuff only?

6. Turn in my certificate for my vmk braclet (got for fireworks)

7. Finish finding Hidden Mickeys - get print-out for Gold Set (thanks Out!)

8. I got a certificate for the insider tour (which has now expired) when I got up to 30 wins in Pirates. Does anyone know if there are certificates to win and print out before I leave? (Out thanks, i added some more things to bring.)

9. Read on dis that Bat Magic may be park-only...keep an eye out for Dracula!

10. Look for real VMK pin. CM's have handed them out.

11. Make Top Ten on Jungle Cruise to get print-out for Explorer's Tent (long shot).

12. Make Top Ten in Pirates for Invisibility Magic (long shot).

13. Have lots of fun!

They have more stuff in VMK Central too ! They have the computers to access vmk too ! But probly already need that lol BTW Just go on every ride ! They are all awesome ! but maybe not the kidde rides...

Take your expired pdf. It's close enough into the new year that they might just honor it. You never know.

Play Jungle Cruise as soon as VMK opens and do your very best. If you are in the top ten for the first time you will get a link to a pdf for a tent room. You can turn that in at the park too!

The gold set pdf is from finding all of the hidden mickeys! The new ones, so happy picture taking!


Remeber everyone in your party with a ticket can get a set of the quest cards. Just take one completed set of quests and all the tickets from your party and you will get multiple sets. Each person can redeem only one of each kind of the pdfs. If you have 2 or more people in your party you can each hand in a gold set pdf, a tent code pdf, a nemo chair, etc. Remember each pdf has it's own bar code so you must each have a different pdf. (don't photocopy the one pdf and think they will give you more than one card for it - it won't work)

Monsters Inc is already up and running in soft opening, so you should be able to ride it. I have no idea when the VMK tie in will be available, but I'm crossing my fingers that you will get the golden doors! - Make sure to ask, because cast members are often the last to know and many don't know what VMK is.

I hope that the joke shop will have their cards back in so you can get a mirror. They have been out for so long.

For the quests, you only need 1 answer sheet for the whole group.

The VMK place is inside of Innoventions and is a great place to hang out while you are waiting for your fast pass time at Space Mountain. You'll need everyone's passes in order to redeem the quests.

When are you going? I'll be there the 14-16th. Will be collecting as much VMK stuff as I can. But I did the quests on Oct 29, so I won't be able to do them again. Hoping to get some more PDF's before I go.

Just a FYI, I was just at DL on 1/1/06, if you are planning on buying something at the Magic Shop on Main Street to get a vmk card, they no longer have the Magic Mirror or any other card to give out instead. They say they have been out for months? But buy something anyway and go to VMK central and complain. lol that is what I did and they gave me a Gold Set instead, had to hassle with them a bit but come on

1) In Disneyland (CA), VMK Central is in Innoventions in Tomorrowland.
3) You will not be able to get Series 1 card 4/6 (Wanted Poster), because it is a WDW exclusive.
4) Even though the Tomorrowland Quest says it expired on December 31 I think they are still honoring it.
5) In Disneyland (CA) there is no VMK Central on Main Street - that is in WDW only. See 1) above.
7) You get a PDF for the Gold Show Designer Collection for finding all the NEW hidden mickeys.
8) Beside what has already been stated by you or in this reply, here is a list of some of the PDFs you can get in game:
* Jungle Cruise Explorer's Tent Guest Room for your first top ten finish on Jungle Cruise Photo Safari game.
* Invisibility Magic Spell for your first top ten finish on Pirates of the Caribbean game.
* Pink Nemo Chair from Castle Fireworks Game (not sure for what).
