...Paris, that is!
Just booked for 3 nights over New Years Eve, my first Disney vacation since my wedding in October 08 and first trip to DLP since May last year!!
DW wasn't happy about how much it costs but I'm a sucker for new years eve at Disney :)

guess I'll go bone up on the Disneyland Paris board :)

Wow, good luck! Not that you won't have a good time still, but be ready for the most people you have ever seen in your life. We did it once, and we couldn't move there were so many people- but it sounds like you have done it before, so you'll be prepared.

Take pictures and post them when you get back- I would love to see the parks/crowds! I remember being super impressed with how quickly they rushed to clean up all the confetti/thrown garbage, there were literally clean up crews waiting in the wings and by 12:05 the streets were sparkling again, haha. I am sure WDW is the same :)

Oh my gosh, how stupid of me- I just noticed you said Disneyland PARIS! But still post pictures I would love to see them even more now!

Tee Hee I wish I was going to Disneyland but I think the travel would kill me for 3 nights stay :lmao:
yeah we've done it 3 times and it is madness, so crowded on Main St waiting for the midnight fireworks but I love it!
Can't wait, now just to persuade DW that she wants to go to Orlando in July... :lmao:

Rub it in Kevin's face why don't ya!!! haha (jk)

Sounds like a fun trip! I am jealous, but hope you have an amazing time!

We're hoping to spend a few days at DLP over the summer. Does anyone know off-hand if we would be able to find accommodations at the last minute (this is going to be a very spontaneous trip) or will we be out of luck?

When abouts are you thinking of being over there?
There are 6 on site hotels and another handful offsite but near enough that provde shuttles ('good neighbour hotels').
New year is about the busiest time of year and we got our first choice hotel a little more than a month before :)

Probably late June/early July. We thought two nights/three days would be long enough to spend as we'll only have a short time in France and want to spend a few days in Paris as well.

Oh, please do take Kevin with you!

Kevin is invited, I'll even treat him to a hotdog from Casey's :lmao:

for the time youre going hotels should be fine. English schools don't finish til late July so the parks should be less crowded and also hotels should be at a cheaper rate :)

Have Fun at DLP...New Years is crazy in any park. Been there (DL), done that and not again!

Want to know all about the 3 days when you get back. Pictures too.

We are going for a week next June 26. We are staying at Marriott's timeshare (on points, still hoping a trade comes in). Have been on the DLP boards and have some interesting suggestions for other things to do during the week too. We then go to Dover for the Baltic Cruise!

Kevin can have the pull out sofabed in the living room.:rotfl: if he wants!

Scottish schools are often off around this time and this is when we normally head to DLP. It is not quite high season and therefore parks close earlier and there is no fireworks. After Bastile Day Disneyland park is open till 11.00pm :thumbsup2 Do not want to put a dampner but it has always been busy when we went :)

Between your knowledge of Scottish schools, and my knowledge of English schools, we'll steer her right :happytv:

Hmmmm that didn't look as jumbled when I previewed it but hopefully you can make sense of it :)

Any other questions feel free to ask, and I'll put up some photos of our New Year trip to whet your appetite when we get back :)

By the amount they are advertising to get people to come to Disneyland Paris at the moment, I really don't think you'll have a problem finding a hotel room.

Most people don't plan their trip 'till 4 months out, since thats when the Eurostar announces it's prices/ times etc.

If you need any help, just let us know, and we'll help as much as we can! :goodvibes
