I'm going on a cruise!!!!

Did I make ya look? Good!! The fact of the matter is, DH and I are doing a cruise, but it's nothing fancy at all. As I was planning our trip to New Orleans and buying tickets for the Aquarium of the Americas and the Audobon Zoo, I discovered a cruise package that will take DH and I back and forth to one or the other. We can go to the aquarium and then board a small cruise ship that will take us 7 miles to the Audobon Zoo or vice versa. The Captain will do some sightseeing and refreshments will be available at a nominal cost. Doesn't that sound like fun?? My church dad says he and his son did it one year and they had a blast! The cost is $32.50 a piece and I found a coupon that will take off $3 for up to four people. So DH and I will save $6 bucks before even purchasing our tickets. We're only going to be in New Orleans for 2 days, but I'm very excited. I've got our room reserved at the Days Inn on Canal Street which is perfect because the Aquarium is on Canal Street.
I just wanted to share some more good news with you guys, I so much rather share this kind of news than the news I did 9 months ago.

Pictures!! I most definitely will Papa! I'm going to put my digital camera to good use the day we do the cruise. We can use our tickets on two separate days and I've chosen to do it on our anniversary! We're going to check out of the hotel, go to Nola's for lunch (one of Emeril's restaurants) and then we'll go park our car at the Aquarium and catch the cruise ship to the zoo. I'll get the pictures onto my yahoo website photo pages and I'll paste the link here for all of you to see.

You'll have a great time Denise. My SO and I took a little night cruise about 2 years ago (on the Southern Belle in Chattanooga). It was so nice. It sounds like you and your dh will have a good mini vacation.
