I'm getting to meet my hero!!

I'm so excited about this news that I'm gonna burst if I don't share it with someone!!

But first, I must make a confession about myself... *ahem* Hello, my name is belledreamer *Hello belledreamer* and I am a geek. According to my friends, that is...

Why am I a geek do you ask? Because I am going to my first anime convention...in full costume. I'm going as Ash Ketchum from Poke'mon. Needless to say, my friends are all too ashamed to go with me...

But it's okay. Because the main reason I'm going is to meet my hero, Vic Mignogna!! For those of you who don't know, Vic is a pretty big celebrity in the anime voice-over business, doing shows like Ouran Host Club and Full Metal Alchemist. And he's my biggest inspiration for doing voice-over projects on Youtube; so getting to meet him is going to be a major highlight for me!

So what I wanted to know is has anyone else had the chance to meet their personal hero? And how did you act? I'm terrified that I'm gonna make a massive fool of myself...

My son would love to go along and he's still a Pokémon fan too! He went to one a while back here in Houston and enjoyed himself.
His 19th birthday is today and he asked for the series Azumanga Daioh. And he has become very good a sketching anime characters.
